HudShift in New 4.88.1 Mod - Hermes - 03-06-2015

Hello Disco,

I have a problem with the Hudshift, i can;t install it and i cant find a good tutorial of how can a newbie like me do it
I found also that the current tutorials dont work because the files locations changed and it seems the names too

After many tries , i failed to edit my hud windows ,,, because they are at the middle of the screen which actually not where they should be at the corners of the screen
I found that players talkin about "Adoxa's Hudshift" , so i spent the last 1 hour just searching for a valid link
and finally ........ i found one and i downloaded it but ... i dont really know how to use it

These lots of codes make me feel so silly and cant understand anything
Can someone please help in full details?

HudShift is packed with Discovery and you shouldn't need to install it.

Try this:
- Go to /EXE and find HudShift.ini. Copy it.
- Now go to /DATA/INTERFACE and paste the file there.

This should make it work.

The file starts with these lines by default:

[HUDShift]
Horizontal = auto
With that, the HUD should be shifted to the edges automatically.

If you want to manually set the HUD position, you can use something like this instead:

[HUDShift]
Horizontal = 0.088
Vertical = -0.015
Which is perfect for 1920 x 1200 screens as it lets you click at the edge of the screen, which is normally obstructed by HUD panels.
You can find the right values by trial and error.

Thank you very much, it worked !! but ... something strange happens
When i open the game , i open it via the launcher so the launcher window keep opened
then the game opens for a moment and boom crash !!! ... made no sense at all

Restarted the pc couple of times and tried again , and same
So i by super chance , tried on more time and click on launch game then fast closed the launcher window ... and IT WORKED !! no crashes no errors

do u have any explaination? , whenever the launcher window is opened, it crashes , when the launcher window closed , it dont crash

i think i found the reason
its because there were 2 options without ; beside em
