Infected File in Freelancer\EXE\ammolimit.dll - Joggin - 03-10-2015

A curious thing. My antivirus software (Bull Guard) picked up supposed malware in Freelancer 4.88.1\EXE\ammolimit.dll and cleaned the file and quarantined the malware.

Bull Guard quotes the malware as being Malware: Gen: Variant.Symmi.50973

Anyone else encountered this issue? Would it cause in game problems? (Not sure how the .dll might have been affected by this)

Grateful for any comments or enlightenment.

Thanks

Uhm,

I would think that it is not a virus becuase my AV does not flag it.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe it's my problem, I just tried to load Disco and got kicked. I'll try reloading 4.88.1 and see what happens from there

I suppose if it just continues, set an exemption on the files.

Yeah, thanks, reloaded Disco then exempted the file.... seems to be OK now, False Positive like Alley said.
