Exiles ID + KNF ID - Tsuzumi Mori - 03-21-2015

I have been pondering about the idea, since Kusari Exiles aren't like Blood Dragons. They are more lawful than Dragons anyway - still claiming to be local authority of Kusari, because they are technically still the part of Kusari Naval Forces, keeping up the Imperial tradition of said organization.

Tori (Skype) Wrote:Exiles and KNF should also have a line that would allow themselves to ally against Outcasts or Blood Dragons, because of the mutual roots.

You know, copying the thing that is in Bundschuh ID, since Exiles are more like Bundshuh of Kusari, not being like Red Hessians. 343 for example is not really keen to attack Kusari lawful targets or civilian targets, unless forced to do so.

Kusari Exiles aren't terrorist organization. They aren't even pirates to be honest. They are even nowhere close to the Hellfire Legion, which consists of the ex-Liberty Navy officers (however those do not harass traders on the other hand). They are still KNF technically speaking, just the other part of it.

So, the question is, inspired after the Bundschuh line in ID:

Should Kusari Exiles and Kusari Naval Forces be able to ally against Blood Dragons, Outcasts and other unlawful entities that were always deemed hostile to Kusari?

Chuba, you need to read up on Kusari law lore. Kusari Exiles are not friends with BD, they are rivals that want to snatch the Kusari Throne. After all, its the Imperials that couped the Shogunate and stole the seat of power, the Republicans just continued the feud.

What relationship, between BD and Exiles?

The Blood Dragons hate Kusari Exiles, they always hated them long before Kusari became a republic, as it was the Empire which banished them and labeled terrorists. They hate Exiles even more than Republican KNF. If I were in Blood Dragons' place, I'd harass Imperials on daily basis as they are in still weakened state.

As a sidenote, Big B stated that BD is not interested into such relation between them, even though he stated it would be interesting outcome for the roleplay - yet unable to be introduced due to the said troubled past. It's like forcing Xenos and Junkers to ally with themselves.

RE: Exiles ID + KNF ID - SnakThree - 03-21-2015

Rulewise, allying is grouping up in chat to coordinate someone to shoot at.

However, you can decide on the spot, to shift priorities from KNF to terrorists and protect the integrity of Kusari itself.

It has been done in the past - Xenos shooting Rheinlanders alongside LN, Hellfire shooting Outcasts alongside LN.

One rule of thumb - never coordinate about this in private or group chats. Do this locally to show that there is RP behind ganging up on someone.

RE: Exiles ID + KNF ID - Tsuzumi Mori - 03-21-2015

That's a very good proposition, Snak3. However, it's somekind of "gray ruleset zone" that might be frowned upon by some players or could be received wrong, as it is not allowed by the ID. You know, the safety measure to avoid awkward situations or accusations of not following ID rules.

That's why I picked up Bundshuh ID, which can ally both against or with Rheinland Military. In case of possible line for Exiles, only allying with Kusari Naval Forces would be possible, I suppose - as Dragons hate Exiles even more than they hate Republic.

RE: Exiles ID + KNF ID - SpaceTime - 03-21-2015

There can be no RP behind it.

In the eyes of the Kusari Exiles, the betrayal of the KNF to their god-Emperor is absolute and above all else, recent too. Thus, there can be no roleplay excuse to ally with them against anyone.
