Do you modify your Discovery? - DragonRider - 04-07-2015
I'm talking about modifications, mainly texture/interface replacing. Things like starspheres, textures, sound, interface.
I often change up the graphics and sound, to give the game a more "HD" feeling.
I'm curious as to how many of the discovery players do that as well.

I was interested, but couldn't get beyond SWAG pack. I am still interested if there is any ENB, HD texture pack, starsphere packs or HUDs available for Freelancer in general. I gave up searching.

There is a good number of addons, like textures, UI's and sound. You just have to know where to look, and be ready to dig a bit to find them.
I've made a collection of such addons. I'm thinking of making a thread and sharing them. Since the only wide-spread option here is the swag pack.
Freelancer really has the potential to look amazing.
Also @Punisher5431 , I suppose you could install 4.85 and extract any effect and sound you may like, and then add them to 4.88.1

I only have Starspheres installed because the system backgrounds without it look absolutely awful. Other than that, no.

Swag pack for the good looking HUD and ENB only; I got my starspheres/background stars deactivated anyway.

While on the subject. Why do you turn off background stars? It feels so empty and bland without them. I guess if your PC is really that bad, it might boost your performance. But even then it's not that much.

Make all ship textures bright yellow > turn off background stars/starspheres > see enemy ships better > kill them easier > new meta
