What kind of Ship? - flashtony - 10-06-2008

Hi there,

I started a while ago and have so far only been trading. (someone gave me a mill and told me what ship to get)
A friend just started and after we have been flying up and down trading for a while, we decided to become pirates. We can invest about 3 million each...

Anyone has a good idea what we can get for that? Any suggestions which pirate faction we should join?
Do we stand a chance with 2 falcons against the bigger trade ships?

cheers

Flashtony

Sabres are awesome.

Join the Outcasts. We're awesome, too.

You can pirate and trade in Kusari Criuse liner and the armoured transport. If your a fighter sort then, what Zapp said.

Penguin seconded, so your thirding. And I fourth it.

Anyway, you may wish to get more than 3 million before going off to pirate.. You'll need Mk VIII armor, which is 15 mil a piece. I'd suggest you buy a transport, then trade up to ~18-20 million. Then get your ships. Make a second character and transfer the money over, so you can keep your trader characters for when you need money. So you'd both have a pirate character, and a trading character.

Im not stopping ya for doing this, but please don't power trade!!!!!!!!
we have enough of it already, and id rather not see more, unless you can rp it all out, which is almost impossible since of the route.

You guys are all wrong. The best pirating setup for two players working together is...

1 nomad light fighter with shield busters and a mini razor
+
1 nomad light fighter with hull busters and a train cruise disruptor

:D
