Hello everyone!
I'm new too discovery mod but through guidance from videos from youtube i have been quite successful at starting off.
I used to play freelancer a number of years ago on another server so i am familiar with the game.
I am also looking for friends who like to work together on discovery and i find the game more fun when i am working in a group or a faction. It would be really lovely to meet you all in space!

Hello and welcome to our little playground!
Here in Discovery we have Official Player Factions. If you are looking for people to play with and RP, joining one is a good idea. Just take a look at the faction's recturement thread and post.
Most of them are based on existing Vanilla NPC factions, so if you're looking for something more different, you can check out the Unofficial Factions and Groups.
Also!
I'd suggest you read The Mighty Book or Rules ™. Getting familiar with them is a big plus. And it will help not to understand how things works around here. I know The Rules might look scary at first, but trust me, it helps to know them.
