LOCATION: Locator beacon OFFLINE! To: the UC management From: Christo Alexander Heya, folks! I know we prolly got off to a rough start, but I was wondering if you lot could give me an assist, yeah? In my wanderings, I came across a couple of Sunbeams being used as escorts. Now, I know that is not one of your ships, but I was hoping you folks could maybe steer me towards acquiring one. I am not asking you lot to stick your necks out on this, just a little bit of Native Guide. The Sunbeam looks like it might be fun to play with, and I need a heavier platform for some recent firing solutions, if you know what I mean. Here's hoping to hear from you soon. Good luck in your pursuits. Christo! Transmission COMPLETE! >> Closing Circuit >> Signal Lost
RE: To: UC From: Christo Alexander {AFC} - Exdeathevn - 04-20-2015 Bonjour, monsieur Alexander!
Looking for a little class in your toys then? You'll be pleased to know that a few of our own pilots fly the Sunbeam model themselves, it's certainly a fine craft to set your eyes on and should suit your needs quite well. They're mainly available at EFL facilities, both orbital and groundside. If you'd like I can get in touch with a dealer in Orleanais and arrange for one to be delivered to Tau-space at a freeport of your choice, though I must point out that gas-conversion for Gallic engine systems are incompatible with some Sirius-based fuels. The Sunbeam should have the storage space necessary to carry some extra drums though if need be. Do let us know if this would be a suitable arrangement, and we can talk about specifics and cost from there. I like to get around, see the galaxy, and I know you folks have some beautiful scenery. Maybe one of your folks could meet me sometime, and show me where I need to buy this beasty? Regarding the fuel, AFC deals with exotic hardware all the time, so I am sure we'll be able to make arrangements. We got chapters in three different Houses, so there tends to be a lively "debate" on engines and rides. This'll just add another point of view to the mix, yeah? Ta for your response, hope to be hearin from you soon. Christo! RE: To: UC From: Christo Alexander {AFC} - Exdeathevn - 04-23-2015 Bonjour, monsieur Alexander!
Glad to hear back from you on this. Truth be told, your plan will save me some paperwork. I can get a memo forwarded and organize a guide or two who can show you where you need to go to pick one up. As an aside out of curiosity, what engine system is currently at the top of the discussions? I haven't had the pleasure of tinkering with Sirian technology in the maintenance workshops just yet. Regards, Jaques Duteaux, Ingénierie Sub-Division RE: To: UC From: Christo Alexander {AFC} - Alestone - 04-23-2015 Yeah, well, getting any two knuckleheads in this group to agree to something as personal as their ride is like... Ah, hell, take your pick, its prolly on the right track. Personally, I favor anything that is reliable, but I know some guys in the club that got to have an engine with an output that matches the ship's color scheme. Ask around, and you can prolly find someone that will support any given power plant, yeah? As to getting the Sunbeam, I am told that we are welcome at the Solar Engineering base in Orleanais, um, Ramor... something or other, but I have never personally been there. The guy telling me was drunk, but it ain't exactly a name you'd make up, yeah? You lot get me there, and I can either pay up front or you can have a marker from me personally for another day. Gimme a day's notice, and I can head over that way (//any day except Thursdays and Sundays), although I tend to "busy" until 1600 SST. Ta much!
