Small issue with Singleplayer saves. - Saberuneko - 04-20-2015 Hello there... I haven't been around for... a really long while. I've just downloaded the latest version of Disco just to try out in Singleplayer. I found out there's a launcher now and things changed in some sort of new ways... My issue is that whenever I save a SP game, close the game, and open the game again, all the saves that were present before are missing then. Might it be some issue on my side? Or is it intentional? -- In another side note, sort of off-topic, Freelancer Companion shows these warnings when I open it now. Is it some kind of issue with Jump points? Code: Jump Li04_to_LI13_hole is missing a valid goto= in file Universe\systems\Li04\Li04.ini RE: Small issue with Singleplayer saves. - Kirill - 04-20-2015 Launcher erases saves every time it launches. Just run Freelancer.exe if you want to play SP only (but still run launcher sometimes to get updates if needed). Warnings are about disabled Texas-Minnesota jumphole. It will be fixed next update. RE: Small issue with Singleplayer saves. - Rebirth - 04-20-2015 I guess the two jump points you have there are floating code somewhere, when someone was either lazy or not tidy enough, happens. Just ignore them, I guess it's on the to-do list of our devs ( probably far under Dota 2 but still ( jokes aside (>_>), haste please don't beat me :3 ) ) Also about the saves, you can still use the launcher as usual. Just backup your singleplayer saves before you are going to exit Freelancer/Discovery. Code: - Start Discovery via Launcher I'm not quite sure but I think when you launch discovery without the launcher DSAce will not be loaded and it messes all around ( like 6XXx4XX resolution? ), no? Not quite sure, though. I doubt it is intended that the launcher removes all savegames from singleplayer ( stares at a dev member hiding behind the wall over there ) RE: Small issue with Singleplayer saves. - Alley - 04-20-2015 I'm going to fix the save wipe soonish RE: Small issue with Singleplayer saves. - Crackling - 04-20-2015 (04-20-2015, 08:01 PM)Alley Wrote: I'm going to fix the save wipe soonish Just let people have a choice. They won't appear listed in the load game list. o.o RE: Small issue with Singleplayer saves. - Saberuneko - 04-22-2015 It'll be better if I just wait until the issue is patched up... Thanks for the help anyway... RE: Small issue with Singleplayer saves. - Rebirth - 04-22-2015 Looks like the game requires to load the documents beforehands... try this ; Code: - Follow the tutorial This will hopefully force the game to reload the documents folder, you could try it out^^.
