been on and off with disco since about 4.85, now just looking for a faction or three to become involved in. i love writing for roleplay and would say i'm decent at it. i dont have much money and i'm not all that great at fighting in the field, better behind the lines.

Try Rogues.
We have a lulz wing for those who wish to relax, but our main wing and especially the ranking system, is heavily RP-based.
If you want to be a part of a faction, where your choices and roleplay actually has input on its progression, look inside.

More to add to what Lythrilux said, there are also unofficial groups that do not show up on the tracker (yet!)
Go ingame, have a look over, see who goes online, roam the forums faction threads, both official and unofficial.

Bowex seems to fit the bill. We're a Bretonian corporate group, with a trade and security wing. We're currently the second most active group on the server, and we take character development pretty seriously. A great combination of making money and building characters.
As an example of what we get up to, have a browse through the last couple of pages of the InfoNet - it's all recent to within a month. We place a big empthasis on the fact that the faction serves the members and not vice versa; consequently, there's a lot of bonus schemes, and scope for kickstarting roleplay projects that members are interested in.
We do a lot of convoys, a lot of roleplay and a lot of writing. You'll get out what you put in, but we'll strive to make your stay enjoyable either way.

If you're interested in Kusari, you could try 343 (Exiles) or KNF, both are factions that reward RP quite a lot
