Yesterday sure was an interesting turn of events, one second I'm taxing a USI, the next I'm threatening a DSE who didn't know how to keep his mouth shut... But you turned out to be a pretty good guy, Lunar.

The two of us being you and your DSE friends, myself and the PLR, and the Navy completely avoided. Hmm, guess that would be far more than two people, huh? Anyway, your installation, Swellendam, has been on my mind for quite some time now. We've left it alone for the most part out of pure laziness, but no longer will we sit idly by and let that blatant disrespectful hunk of scrap go unpunished. Lord Moka has strict laws about stations on his turf that don't belong to the PLR, that law being, they either pay to live, or don't and get scrapped. So Nox, I'll give you this one chance, it's not a declaration of war... yet... more like a heavy handed suggestion that you would be wise to follow. Open discussions with me on the subject of protection costs paid to the Padua Liberty Rogues, or the next time we meet, I might be a lot less friendly than I was... Ok regarding your "Heavy handed suggestion" i have some Questions first just to clear the air and point out some comments made in your previous transmission.
1) You speak of your turf? In what manner do you mean that statement as im well in Liberty Government space and pay them Rent to be there. Not picking a fight here just want to know the grounds on witch that statement is based. You must have a reason to be claiming the area, and i do not believe you just arrived here and started to squat?
2) You mention and i quote "Open discussions with me on the subject of protection costs paid to the Padua Liberty Rogues". So what will this protection imply and hens my second question....
3) What is PLR standing with the Xeno's also operating in the area and will the "protection" you mentioned protect me from an assault from from the Xeno's, if the need arises for your assistance. Or an assault from any other faction to protect your income. And will that include my trading vessels?
4) This is more a statement than a question and i would like if you did not take offense but my Station will be and stay Hostile towards LR pilots despite that i pay "protection" monies to the PLR.

Good to hear from you, and glad you didn't outright ignore this transmission as so many have before. You have questions, and I find them to be valid, therefore I won't hesitate to answer them. We'll start with the first and go in order, shall we?
1) You ask here for me to explain my meaning when I say you are on our turf. This is actually quite easy to answer. Liberty claims to own the black, though one cannot own space. Liberty can't patrol every corner of their territory and it is in those corners where we, the PLR and other such groups reside. The navy can't be everywhere at once, and we have to make a living just as you do, or USI, Navy, LPI, whatever; we all have to make money so that we can survive. In doing so, our group has long since held claim to the territories in and around Liberty as our "Turf". If we see someone on it we don't like, we stop them, tax them, shoot them, enslave them, torture them... whatever strikes our fancy. Does Liberties government, laws , military, and police protect its citizens from such criminals and terrorists? Yes they do, though when they aren't looking, we sneak in, kidnap a wealthy businessman, ransom him off to his wife or his business or whoever can pay. It's that simple. Liberty can't be everywhere, and where they aren't, we are. So the answer to your question, Nox, is we claim what is rightfully ours, the freedom of space, and freedom of law, because where the law isn't , we own.
2) The protection costs we require are simply for us to leave you be. You pay, your base stays. You don't your base gets scrapped. Easy. As for the Xeno's in your area... yeah, if we're around, we'll shoot them... but it won't be for your protection... we shoot Xeno's, cause Xeno's deserve to get shot. Now, if I were to be flying by your base on a patrol and happen across a Xeno that's attacking your base, then yeah, I might say something to him, let him know this base is under the protection of the PLR and what not. However, we will not step in to purposely stop anyone from destroying your Installation. That is what your good friends, the Liberty Government is for.
3)I wouldn't dream of requesting access to your base... You think I want to be caught in a lawful base? I'll have 20 armed guards on me with pistols pointed at my head in a heartbeat. I'm not about to let that happen a 3rd time.
In short, you pay us, we leave you alone. If we see someone bugging your installation, then we'll say something, though we are only able to do so much. Hope this clears things up for you, I will await your reply. Vale out.

Ok i understand your standing and reason around your transmission regarding this matter.
So to keep it short what will the costs be towards PLR and please keep in mind i am the soul owner/manager of this base and all its operations and income is limited as i do all income related processes SOLO. Hope you will take that into consideration.
