Train MkII - Ximen_Benitez - 10-10-2008 Here is a very rough quick 5 minute idea of a Train Version two. You think they might upgrade from those old clunkers flying around.. I dunno. Here's the idea, I'm not really sure where to go from here so I'm open to suggestions.. thanks. Train MkII - Tinky57 - 10-10-2008 Looks interesting although its hard to get an idea of where your going at such an early stage, looks sweet at the moment though. Train MkII - 13CentKiller - 10-10-2008 Nice flow, but lacks detail. Like Tink said, its a very early stage and maybe you could put some containers on the back to add effect and detail. I know what you mean by Train Mk II. The Adv.Train looks very ummm...4.80? Giving it the same kind of feel with a new shiny glossy look and putting it with a faction that could manufacture such a ship would be awesome! Train MkII - Xing - 10-10-2008 very early stage of design, but well started. Reminds me of TGV. Maybe a passenger train? Train MkII - dr lameos - 10-10-2008 Yeah, theres not any transports for taking ordinary people... they can either be take as prisoners, in luxury, or as royalty... Wheres the everyman's public transport network? This looks nice for passengers. Needs a lot of work though Train MkII - Monk - 10-10-2008 maybe its just where my mind is right now...but it kinda looks like lipstick... but i see the starts of a sleek high-end passenger train....doesn't look like something you would haul toxic waste in. Train MkII - Crossbow - 10-10-2008 Quote:Yeah, theres not any transports for taking ordinary people... they can either be take as prisoners, in luxury, or as royalty... Why not Passenger cargo pods with windows so the ship can be used both ways and yes it looks like the Thalys (maybe add small wings) Train MkII - n00bl3t - 10-11-2008 Starflea stretch limousine.:P (Apologies Ximen, I could not even model that. It is just what the image brings to mind.) Train MkII - Dennis Jameson - 10-11-2008 A Stargate: Atlantis puddle jumper! :P My opinion is to go by the concept of the old train. IE: A "locomotive" dragging the cargo behind it, that's what made the train the train if you know what i mean. Train MkII - Doom - 10-11-2008 advice...don't use filleted surfaces, they create too many unnecessary polygons and can be nightmare to texture, smooth ships don't look FL-ish, and nicely made chamfer in game looks smooth enough. |
