Griff Vahl here,
Sitting behind a desk just isnt my thing.

Most of you know that by now, but Ill say it again. My position allows me that luxury, but I would have it any other way. Any day. My love for the Sigmas runs deep. I cant sit around all day when theres action and beauty to behold in space.

Back to business: I hopped in my Viper and took a lazy orbit near the Ogashawa. Surveying the nebulae is always a great form of relaxation for me. Swirling trails of azure haze Maybe its a miner thing, but its beautiful all the same. In the meantime, it didnt take long for something to happen.

Dreamer. An Outcast IFFd and IDd Heavy Tanker showed on my scanners, and I scanned his hold once he was in range.

Slaves. A full compliment

Though he showed no hostility to our establishment, my heart dropped. Almost 5000 people, being carted off to die on the Outcast home world. When do we turn a blind eye? When do we fight for justice? Thats something - as long as I will lead part of the GMG that I will never fully understand.

I kindly gave him a warning not to use the Sigmas for his dirty trade, but he showed immediate disrespect and hostility, stating that the Outcasts would annihilate the Gas Miners Guild. Idle threats from a loudmouthed smuggler. I simply repeated the warning, and told him to move along.

It didnt seem to be enough. My craft is simply now fitted out to combat such a heavily armored vessel. Used for trade or not, the Heavy Tanker possesses devastating firepower, and I would have been routed. I proceeded back to the Ogashawa, with Dreamer continuing his childish threats and mocking remarks of my withdrawal. Its a shame I wasnt younger, I probably would have let the mans words get the best of me. But thats not how I work. If he wants to throw verbal arrows at me, so be it. I have no qualms with that. Ive been around too long for those things to affect my ego. Of course, hell understand the power of the GMG when his time comes.

I assure it.

Guild Master Vahl, signing out.

End report.

Konichiwa,

I have begun running our H-fuel out to Sirius. First route I did was to Planet Houston, Texas in Liberty space. I had word from the Zoners in Bering that my Level 4 Transport Turrets were ready. Thats right recruits, the best trasnport turrets can be bought by our friends in the Bering system. In the Texas system I encountered a Liberty Navy Officer named Galen. He informed me that there is a trade embargo between Liberty and those Rheinland dogs. I expressed my glee to their commander and told we don't deal with Rheinland unless they are foolish enough to enter the Sigmas. I believe GMG will have good relations with LN as our wncounters increase. For that matter I was informed that top notch shields for our transports can be purchased on Planet LA.

I returned back with food from the Zoners, back in the Sigmas I took note that the Harvesters are pirating in Sigma 13. This should be dealt with accordingly. Recruits, until an official decision is made, deal with them on a case by case scenario and remember that their actions don't reflect those of other Junker groups.

I met up with an eagle designated Taro.Katsuo, his ID and IFFF were GMG so we grouped up to do run into the Taus. It was uneventful thankfully and allowed me to get info from the various bases there. We didn't go in too deep and as of yet I haven't found much profits for us there. The Zoners in Tau 29 tell me of a base they have deeper in the Taus but is used by Outcasts, I may make the journey. Take note of Taro.Katsuo he may have potential as a recruit

Guild Ace Orin Hasting reporting todays activities,
It was an interesting day.

I took up my post in Sigma-13 today. The pirate activity is becoming ridiculous. We simply cant take it upon ourselves to play hero. Our resources are drained enough with the reordering of high command, and we just dont have enough active units to fight every battle to the best of our abilities. So for the moment:

They have to deal with me.

I took up my post near the Naha, and had a generally pretty calm hour or so. A few traders passed with their shipments. New scanners are working excellently.

Unfortunately, they had to be put to use for a good reason. After a bit of time into my post, a smuggler - Jihad_Trader came skirting near the Naha, carrying a full load of cardimine. I gave him a warning not to conduct his trafficking through the Sigmas and he seemed agreeable enough.

The Harvesters

They pose an interesting situation in our space. They combat the Wild, which is - in all reality great; and they seem to be hostile with the Outcast gaijin; but they also seem to pirate all the same for supplies. In my opinion, we should leave them be for the most part, but the moment they encounter our convoys, they need to know that we must not be trifled with. Of course, if they keep up their pirating, they will need to be shown the Sigmas are not their playground. Theyre smart. They will learn.

Back on track, the aforementioned drug smugger seemed to have a run in with one of these toasters, and gave up some of his hold and credits in exchange for his life. Reap what you sow, aye?

I resumed my post about the Naha, and soon found another hostile on my scanners. An Outcast pilot by the call-sign: Idrac. I hailed him, asking what his intentions in 13 were, but I was replied to with a rather blunt: None of your business.

Oi, quite the attitude?

I reminded him that it, indeed, was my business, and that if he did not desist proximity to the Naha, he would be engaged. I was then replied to with another rude comment, this one consisting of the quote: Come try.

The Taiidan is a capable vessel indeed. Its power supplies are a godsend in this business, and although Im still getting used to the art of Supernova placement, Ive found relative success in the trade. Griff is a great instructor, I must say, and I wouldnt be half the pilot I am today if it werent for his tutelage in the matter.

Getting back to the action, I quickly found myself in a violent bloodbath of an encounter. His vessel, a Lane Hacker Gunship, was heavily armed with anti-fighter tracking armaments, but thankfully, little compliment of homing cartridges. Ion storms hindered my aim against the agile weapons platform, but I managed to deal serious damage to him early on in the engagement. Sadly, I found myself being lit up quickly as well.

Suddenly, a pilot by the call-sign: -Zulu- came within scanner range, asking whether I needed an assist. My predicament was becoming a dodgy one, so I obliged his aid, and it was soon a battle of closer odds.

The pilots weapons systems just werent enough to deal any notable damage to the Outcast, but he provided a much needed distraction. After a short period of time, my Supernovas found their mark, and the Outcast Idrac was reduced to scrap.

A job well done.

I never did catch the pilot Zulus affiliations and ID, but he helped in a dire instance all the same. I thank him for his assistance.

Having sustained noticeable damage in the encounter, I returned to the Naha and checked my Taiidan in for repairs.

Hasting out.

End report.

Konichiwa,

I found the best location to unload H-fuel in Liberty. Planet LA pays well, they also sell Construction Equipment which we need as we further develop in Sigma-19 they can be dropped off at the Ogashawa.
The Zoners in Tau 29 will pay the same for the Equipment, a route through Baffin makes this a quick run. However I still have yet to find something we need from the Taus, further investigation will be coming soon.

Orin Hasting reporting in,
Stick a fork in me.

Im really sick of being the only active security pilot on duty. I cant do everything myself. I just cant. But as long as this reordering of policy takes, I guess its all that can be done.

I took up my post around the Naha, as usual, and surveyed the passing traders. A few went by on their routes, and everything was just peachy. Soon after, one of them hailed me privately from New Berlin, asking whether or not Cobalt was considered contraband in our space.

Cobalt!

I informed him it was not, choking down any rude chuckles, and he continued on his way. At least he had the mindset to ask, aye?

Back in position, I picked up a signal reading: Case.de.OsoRojo. I hailed him, asking what his business was in the Sigmas, and he told me I could come to the Yanagi and scan him. Not worth my time. I have no desire to get anywhere near those scavengers, and he wasnt causing any trouble, so I simply ignored him.

Shortly after, two Harvester units popped up on scanners, and began combat with the now identified Outcast Destroyer. Im not one to involve myself needlessly, but one toaster got lit up pretty quick, and the other seemed to be having a bit of trouble handling the unwieldy capital ship. So, perhaps against better judgment, I broke course and entered the fray.

We simply cannot have Outcast capital ships relaxing in our systems. Their presence is a disgrace, and must be dealt with accordingly. Though, I advise all pilots to not openly engage these Outcast Destroyers without proper support. They are heavily armed, and can tear you open like a tin can if you arent wary.

The battle was brief and violent. The one Harvester was dispatched of quickly, but while focusing his batteries on the other I was able to introduce him to few Supernovas, and he was destroyed.

I returned back to the Naha, and resumed my watch.

Oh, lovely: Another Outcast Destroyer.

I engaged it, seeing as it was making a bee-line for the station. I had no choice. This commander was quite a deal more skilled than the last, and his missile batteries ripped off all of my weapons within minutes. Crippled, I broke course in retreat.

Of all the times for reinforcement, another GMG officer appeared. I dont know what became of him, but I know for a fact he wasnt the victor. I pray he survived the deadly encounter.

I put down back on base and turned in for repairs

More to report,
Finally some company.

My frustration over the days earlier activities brought me to requisition a spare Taiidan, and jump back into patrols. Flying is all I know, and when I need to burn some irritation off, flight does the job.

Sigma-13 was, surprisingly, a ghost town. But soon enough, I received a transmission from a new recruit: Simizu Shinzawai. He was held up on the Aomori, and in need of refitting for his Civilian Bomber.

Seems like a pretty good guy. Follows orders, polite, and hes not an awful pilot. Good to have competent individuals on the roster; I look forward to working with him in the future.

We made way for Sigma-59, and after a short visit to the Niigata, he was much better equipped for combat. We came back into Sigma-19, and picked up an unknown contact near the Ogashawa: A trader, but there was more. He was reading Outcast on his IFF. I informed him of this, and he honestly was flabbergasted as to how that could be. Must have been a glitch. His cargo was acceptable, and I let him pass with a firm suggestion to look into his affiliation bugs.

We held position around the station, and quickly began reading another contact, this one call-signed: AntonyoMatoya. Seemed he was a simple explorer, and wanted permission to lay eyes upon Sigma-59. I was leery at first, but his motives seemed pure, so I was inclined to allow him brief access as long as we escorted him for the excursion. Incidentally, however, the pirate activity around the system (//NPCs) was too much for his craft, and he called the voyage off.

The rest of the day went without incident.

Hasting out.

End report.

Konnichiwa from the humble crew of Kamchatka Gas Miner to the noble Gas Miners Guild!
Reporting...

Kamchatka was delivering goods from Sigma 13 system stationary Gas Miner Naha to Shikoku system Battleship Myoko when the danger striked.

Shinagawa station was under attack by Golden Chrysanthemum bomber fighting Kusari Naval Forces Cruiser orbiting the moon in the area. The Kishiro instalattion was taking colleatal damage with bomber manevrouing around its convenient surface. Captain (Teichou) Yamato decided to aid Kusari Naval Forces and Kamchatka has opened fire onto hostile!

Little effort that we put into it paid off. Shinagawa defences pushed off the attack with success!

Of course we did not know that another Chrysanthemums wing was about to show up and cut Kamchatka in tradelane sequence... Then the trouble started. Certainly the pirates werent happy about the previous event and so Kamchatka was forced to abandon its' cargo.

Things were starting to look grim, but then the Cruiser showed up via tradelane and drew the attention of pirates away. We took the liberty in fleeing again.

I do not know what happened on the battlescene, but it sure has bought us enough time to emergency dock on Planet New Tokyo.

I have finely picked up my bomber from Omicron Delta. It has been a long but informal trip for me. I had decided to get to Omicron Delta by going through the Omegas. I t has given me a chance to meet with the Zoners in Theta and 74. I couldn't continue my journey as I barely survived a Nomad wing and fled in my flea. So I went back by way of Sigma 17 and decided to get to Delta through the Unknown system (reached by Tohoku). This was far easier and althought there are Nomads in the area I was able to make it to the Freeport and purchase my bomber.
I have gotten back to GMG space and was able to equip myself with the best of equip. with one exception. I haven't gotten an SN Cannon. These Nova Torpedos are slow, expensive, and payload isn't sold everywhere.
I believe a Bounty Hunter is willing to retrieve one for me, for the right price. I should have one soon to help secure GMG space.

Konichiwa,

I set out today to go to Planet Gammu in Omicron Kappa to pick up a Super Nova Cannon. I met up with Taro and Orin on the way. Toro was flying a Falcon at the time so we thought it prident to pick up a Stinger at Kurile along the way.
Now Kappa is no joke. Those Nomads are omnipresent along with Battleships and Gunboats. I am glad to say that there were no casualties and only myself being slow since I had Corsairs on my tail the whole way.
On return to the Sigmas, I performed standard patrols with very little activity. So I picked up a mission against the Hogosha in Honshu. Orin called me and notified me of a known Outcast in a Gunboat in the Sigma 13. We proceded to the Miner Naha. Sure enough we ran into three Outcasts one in a Gunboat and two in Very Heavy Fighters/Bombers. In the midst of battle they hired the support of Light.of.Resolution. This was unfortunately for me as Orin and myself were concentrating on the Gunboat with our cannons and I was taken down by this Mercenary. Unfortunately Orin, unsupported, didn't hold oout against the superior numbers.

Bloody hell!

I'm not much on the mood for writing an elaborate report, but I'll hammer out the details anyways.

As reported by Jin'ko, we made our way out to Gammu to pick her up a Supernova Cannon. All good, we made it there and back with no incidents, and I hit the paperwork for an hour or so on the Ogashawa when we returned.

Soon enough, I was back on patrols, and started picking up hostile and unknown targets in 13 on long range scanners. Idrac was back. I hailed Jin'ko in Honshu and we were soon idled above Naha.

I immediately started picking up Outcasts near by. We hailed them, telling them to break off. 'Nuff said, we were in battle quickly. Here's the official list of who we encountered:

Idrac (Outcast ID/IFF, Lane Hacker GB)
Unknown Outcast (Outcast IFF, Rogue GB)
?????.Flare (Outcast IFF, Falcata)
Light.of.Resolution (Junker IFF, Merc ID, Stinger VHF)

Jin'ko has seemed to have misinformed of the pirates' numbers, as there were without a doubt two Gunboats involved in this incident. I cannot recall the Rogue GB pilot's call-sign, as well as I cannot recall the Bomber pilot's first name.

We focused our fire on Idrac first, and dealt a fair bit of damage to him while Jin'ko was still in combat. Unfortunately, that wasn't long. I got a hurried transmission of her withdrawel, and then she swatted down.

The Mercenary...

Whether the Outcasts hired him over private channels - which I severely doubt - or whether he simply had a bloodlust and decided to join the winning side, I don't know. All I know is that:

Mercenary Light.of.Resolution is hereby banned from GMG space, and shall be given one warning to break off. If he doesn't comply immediately, kill on site.

Jin'ko was out of the battle, I was down to next to no weaponry from the Rogue GB's missile artillery, the Hacker GB was playing bait, and the fighter and bomber were attacking me from all sides. I held out as long as I could, and crippled Idrac's hull to a breaking point.

Then my Supernova fell apart.

Game set. Match. I tried to retreat, but the Gunboats opened up on me and my Taiidan was destroyed. I ejected and was picked up by a passing convoy a few hours later. I'm alive, obviously, and waiting for a new bomber.

Those ganging idiots will get their's soon.

Hasting out!

End report.
