Discovery 3D Map (4.88.1) - Miaou - 05-28-2015 [p3d]HEgqQ+load[/p3d] I got bored in class so I made this. This isn't accurate at all as there really isn't any information to go off of. I simply copied the location of the 2D map and pushed the systems up and down to give depth, then added the gate connections. Just look from a top view if you want to find a specific system. https://skfb.ly/EDpC Here's the link for nebulas being added in. RE: Discovery 3D Map (4.88.1) - SILENT KNIGHT - 05-28-2015 looks awesome just maybe bastille would be there and conn hehe some have jg to systems others have jh to other systems but yeah looks good tho RE: Discovery 3D Map (4.88.1) - Miaou - 05-28-2015 https://skfb.ly/EDpC Here's the map with the major nebulas added in. p3d doesn't do transparencies sadly. @"Rory Jacoby" I left Bastille and Conn out because those aren't real systems. Also adding in jumphole connections would just make the map a bunch of convoluted lines. RE: Discovery 3D Map (4.88.1) - Kauket - 05-28-2015 Actually, by looking at the starspheres, you can tell the locations of things, eg in bew berlin, omegas are kinda "low" RE: Discovery 3D Map (4.88.1) - Oldum - 05-29-2015 Can we have the file pls ? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Discovery 3D Map (4.88.1) - pillow - 05-29-2015 The one with the nebulas is quite interesting to look at. I like this- well done. RE: Discovery 3D Map (4.88.1) - DragonRider - 05-29-2015 Very interesting concept. Maybe something can come out from this. RE: Discovery 3D Map (4.88.1) - Fluffyball - 05-29-2015 I'm still thinking about connection between Manchester and New London, because you can see what may be a supposed New London star, while you enter the New London jumpgate. As I mentioned somewhere, I put a theory that New London and Manchester could be double-star system, more like Alpha Centauri and Proxima Centauri than Sirius A and Sirius B. The reason behind not seeing the Manchester star back could be pollution in the New London, as mentioned in the lore, making a cloud around New London system and covering the star from being viewed back. |
