[OORP] Changes in the Bundestag - Kanzler Schulte - 05-31-2015 From this point forward, a new way of working the Bundestag has been decided. For the increase of efficiency and speed of processes involved. This means that from this point forward, certain topics will be handled by the specific representative of that field. Those are as Follows. In matters of Defense, responses and decisions will be held by the Representatives of the Rheinland Military. In matters of Law, responses and decisions will be made by the representative of the RFP. In matters of Foreign Intel (And even interior intel in some ways), responses and decisions are made by the BDM. Trade, Currency and Economic Decisions will be made by the representative of the Corporations. Diplomacy and Interior will be a thing decided by all members of the Bundestag in unity. Each "branch" are to come up with a Minister for their Work. Minister of Defense, Minister of Justice, Minister of Intelligence, Minister of Economy. We will add the names of the representatives to an official sheet for people to know who to expect an answer from. Roster of Ministers: Minister of Defense - Siegfried Heilner RE: [OORP] Changes in the Bundestag - jammi - 05-31-2015 Out of curiosity, how were things dealt with before? And does this mean that ratification or discussion by/with the other groups is no longer necessary? RE: [OORP] Changes in the Bundestag - Sturmwind - 05-31-2015 Before, we roleplayed the Indian-Soviet Anarchist Association for Bureaucracy. The change is needed so that we'll be more task-oriented and efficient. Discussion will be still required in macro-political decisions. RE: [OORP] Changes in the Bundestag - Karst - 05-31-2015 I'd like to mention that this was a completely unilateral decision by Nik and Sturmwind with no discussion whatsoever among other members of the Bundestag. Presumably to give the RM free reign with their general "f u" attitude in what they consider defense matters. What exactly this will mean for the future isn't clear. Would you like having the system used in the past that all decisions were made by the RM instead? You're not even in Rheingov. The Bundestag has worked reasonably well for years now even though its....quality has dropped. In any case, this is a coup and should not be treated as a legitimate policy change. RE: [OORP] Changes in the Bundestag - Havok - 05-31-2015 I don't even know why you're complaining when you get power over your sector as much as the others. This is no coup and people are still in charge, just of their respective assets. In the past, before you even touched a Rheinland faction, the RM was pretty much single handedly handing everything related to Rheinland indeed. That went on from the time of Virus (2006?) to the end of the time when I was leading the RM (up to 2011). No idea who established a system that is so bureaucratic that two weeks of debate are needed to decide on an entry permit, but it is clear that such a system does not work. So far, your beloved democracy appears to be working perfectly. Treating it as a "coup" is unnecessary, we simply wish to establish clear roles within the confines of government leadership. Also, no idea why we're discussing this here. (05-31-2015, 02:21 PM)Rodent Wrote: As an Indian, you have no idea what you're claiming. XD Lol, simply said that because India has been the monolith of bureaucracy in the past years in the economic sector I work in RE: [OORP] Changes in the Bundestag - SpaceTime - 05-31-2015 In what capacity is Havok part of the Bundestag by the way? He is not leading any official faction. |
