Admin Spontaneous Event - Garrett Jax - 06-03-2015
Start time: 19:30 UTC
Place: Planet Honshu/Deshima Station trade route
Event: For two hours Synth Paste and Food Rations will be buffed in Planet Honshu and Deshima Station respectively. Cadiz base, in Omega 5, will buy both commodities at a buffed rate as well.
Rules: Rules governing pvp death will be adjusted. All traders/miners who get killed, may reenter the game after 10 minutes.
No using POB's to store/sell the commodities.
Participants: Lawfuls, unlawfuls, traders and pirates are all welcome to play their roles in this event.

Depending on the buff size, both destinations are going to end up being one system runs, because there are extremely local resale points for both commodities. That intentional? I imagine the lane between Juno and Deshima in Shikoku will be getting extremely hot.

If it's anything like the last event with Helium 3, it really doesn't matter what the prices/locations are. 99% of the activity was just pews, which is just fine too.

Food Rations are sold on Planet Juno, Shikoku. Synth Paste is sold on Furyoku Station, Okinawa. Both have relatively high sellpoints, but if the buff is alright on the base commodity, that won't make a difference. It'll be most efficient to ship them across one system, rather than go all the way to the lowest sell point. We'll all have to wait and see how the buffs turn out.

Curious: if I die as a trader can I get back to game on a combat ship after 10 minutes? Also, if I die as a fighter, can I get back to game as a trader after 10 minutes?
