Transmission to the |U|nioner Leader - LunaticOnTheGrass - 06-20-2015 20-06-822 Esteemed Unioner Cell Leader, How do you do it? I'm asking this question as someone accustomed to leading a ragtag band of desperate refugees and individuals with poor morale, so this makes things even more astounding to me. Let me recant your cell's actions towards the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee over the past few weeks; - Your men attacked us in Neu Berlin when we were simply surprised to see you. Possibly your best-fought engagement, honestly. We were caught off guard, but all in all the result was a draw. - Next, two of your men thought they could sneak-attack us whilst we were occupied with an offending Donau-class Cruiser. Both of your men's ships were disabled even after we repeatedly gave the surviving snubcraft a chance to withdraw. That mercy was refused. - Then, your men came to the defense of the Corsairs whilst they were once again busy wasting millions of credits in Frankfurt to no visible gain. You know, we in the Bundschuh had always suspected the close proximity of your partition within Munich and the Corsair partition within Sigma-13 to mean something. I suppose we were right, as confirmed in the attachment. Once again, your forces were regrettably unsuccessful in wresting our vigilance from our charge, Northern Rheinland. - And now just yesterday I'm informed that your forces were again treading where we've cautioned them not to; Frankfurt. The pattern has held precisely the same at the moment. Your men engage us in a borderline-psychotic fashion that I'm presuming is an imitation of the common Corsair battlecry, and our comparatively disciplined forces put yours down as gently and mercifully as possible. And yet, I need to know your secret. In light of statements such as this gem from the Mission Logs today... ...How do you keep Unioner morale so stratospherically high? Do your pilots run on perpetual Cardamine highs? Do you manage to hilariously over-exaggerate the successes and Pyrrhic victories of your raids and operations? Pleasantries aside, I'd like to talk "business"; if I know anything about the Unioner Syndicate, it's that they react in a Pavlovian fashion to the word. Our arrangement until now has been very satisfactory for the Bundschuh; You hide under your rocks while we enact actual change and get to live with our consciences. Until now, The Widerstandsarmee was actually willing to turn a blind eye to your Syndicate. So long as it knew where our territory was and didn't interfere in our own operations, we were more than willing to steer relatively clear of Hamburg in particular. But now, it seems you've decided to "renegotiate" our "business arrangement" without our own feedback on the matter. So I feel it necessary to ask; Are you going to provide an explanation for your acting-up as a Syndicate, or will you need to continue shelling out millions upon millions of credits on replacement Unioner-made craft that splatters itself on our bulwark? I eagerly await your reply. As a final note, tell your pilots that we are not "Commies"; that more aptly describes the Hessians on whose Blood Diamonds your smuggling economy seems to rely upon like pressurized Cardamine. But I can share with them your perception on their uncleanliness if you find it pertinent. RE: Transmission to the |U|nioner Leader - Sturmwind - 06-20-2015 *** INCOMING TRANSMISSION ***
ID: Der Schakal, |U|NIONERS SUBJECT: From the 'esteemed Unioner cell leader' Der Schakal, the terrorist leader himself appears on a screen, sitting on some sort of couch. He is grinning into the camera, appearing rather relaxed and cheerful....? No, that's not cheerfulness. His emotions reflect more like.... loathing. Erich! It is so nice to hear of you! I think we can drop all the needless formalities; we can communicate and understand each other properly without these unnecessary clichés of wording. You and I are.... not so different after all. The man grins with his razor-sharp smile, still sitting back, he reaches for a blood-red cocktail of some sort. You ask how I keep my men moralized. You my friend, seem to be pretty well-moralized yourself! After all, I do not detect any purpose behind this transmission other than you telling us how formidable your pilots are and how useless ours are. He bursts out laughing, his joy clearly infused with madness. Seriously, Erich. Should I leave the room? Do you intend to fill it up with your ego? He sips his cocktail slowly, still continuing to laugh, albeit in a more reserved manner, then places the glass back on the table. This explains a lot though, my friend. You are so blinded by your own illusion of perfection that you fail to notice that what you described in the transmission you sent to me that you are in fact talking about the methodology your own organization pursues. Der Schakal then presses some sort of remote. Apparently the handle of some transmitter, or attachment manager tool. Immediately as the button is pressed, an attachment is sent. This line of transmission was returned to me by one of the first patrols I ordered just a day of two after I was .... 'put in charge' of the Unioner organization. It appears you yourself had a hand in making the first shot, Erich. "Erich shot first". This should be a popular joke. You even look like someone who had a similar joke played on him some time ago. He laughs once again, however, in a more subtle way. I suppose I need not describe the encounter, I am sure you recall it yourself. The only problem with it is that you are trying to put the blame on us when in fact, it was you who started derailing our common understanding. What came afterwards is a result of your blatant egoism and arrogance, trying to cover yourselves with false labels such as "martyrdom" and "patriotism" when clearly, the Bundschuh themselves pursue no different agenda than we do. Der Schakal smirks impishly. His teeth are cutting into your soul. As I said, you and I are very similar, Erich. We both run an organization simply so that our selfish needs can be satisfied, the only difference between you and me is that while I prefer guns, whores and money, you do it for attention, recognition and looking like a "hero" in the eyes of your puppets. As thus, it is your own ego you should talk to, Klugmann. It is you who should settle this issue within himself, what I reply is of little relevance unless you realize what's really wrong here, my friend. Of course other members of the Volksrevolution will not be able to work with you, as long as you think the Volksrevolution is the revolution of Erich Klugmann, not the Volk. And if the head of an organization fails to admit his mistakes to himself, the organization itself is doomed for failure. Nice talking to you, Erich. - Der Schakal |U|NIONERS *** TRANSMISSION TERMINATED ***
RE: Transmission to the |U|nioner Leader - LunaticOnTheGrass - 06-20-2015 20-06-822 "Der Schakal", The purpose of this transmission was to address the unprovoked hostilities that your men have repeatedly demonstrated towards ours, to the point of attempting to opportunistically aid invading Corsairs against us. I'm afraid that can't be tolerated, period. I appreciate your attempting to deflect the matter at hand to simple ad-hominems, though. On the matter of my "ego", I'll spare you my life's story and simply state that I could have gratified that ego far more prominently if I'd only kept my mouth shut on the matter of the Federal Regime's authoritarian tyranny. I was genuinely wealthier beforehand. Additionally, it's unwise to conceal or censor data or information from the Bundschuh. It so happens that I recognize the logs you've sent me, and fittingly, yours don't quite tell the entire story. Erich didn't shoot first, Schakal. But as it turns out, your "business" resume doesn't quite check out or meet our standards. Far too many blank spaces. I feel you've made your choice, Schakal. Stay out of Frankfurt, Munich, Dresden, and our partitions of Neu Berlin, and we'll have little reason to hunt your men down. I may not have shot first, but I promise you, the Widerstandsarmee will be the one shooting last. RE: Transmission to the |U|nioner Leader - Sturmwind - 06-20-2015 *** INCOMING TRANSMISSION ***
ID: Der Schakal, |U|NIONERS SUBJECT: From the 'esteemed Unioner cell leader' Der Schakal returns on screen. He quickly sends away a woman wearing nothing but a thorn Rheinwehr coat as he sits down on the couch and looks into the screen with a grin reflecting satisfied pleasure. Although his glasses hide most of his gestures, he appears to be heavily drunk, yet attempting to speak in coherent sentences. Erich! As I expected, you understood not even a single word your fellow revolutionary sent your way as advice! Or well... I'm sure you did, it is simply that your over-sized ego prevented you from converting it into what intelligent people call 'constructive criticism.' He takes a sip from a wine bottle, apparently of either Gallic make, or some sort of carefully engineered fake. I am not going to bother playing your copyrighted game of "let's-argue-about-useless-stuff-endless", since your response clearly shows that you place your opinion above that of anyone else, so no matter how much evidence I would send your way proving that you and your men clearly started hostility against us, you would still proceed to verbally defend opinions having validity akin to saying that the Bundschuh Partei were sent on board the Sleeper Ship Brussels, destined to save humanity from fascists like Schulte, Lopez, Pepe and me. The Unioner takes another sip from the wine bottle, then proceeds to throw it aside, spilling its liquid contents all over the expensive carpet on the floor. So go and fight for your opinion and childish 'democracy' all you wish, Erich. Obviously, pointing guns at people when they go to the voting booth will sure make your dream materialize. He smirks as he lights a cigar. Also go and continue threatening my men, Erich. With every piece of plasma you waste shooting at my friends, you let the Kanzler and his men, as well as the Corsairs gain ground in the territories you listed above. You know full well that they are your true enemies, against us; you are simply fighting to prove how much better you do your Klugmannsrevolution than us. We are not afraid of you. If we aren't, neither are your real enemies. - Der Schakal |U|NIONERS *** TRANSMISSION TERMINATED ***
