Earlier Today the following converstation took place between Core| Canaan| and OSI-

The end result was that the Core vessels failed to leave the area after loitering, a violation of Rule 6. Additionally after demanding they leave again both capital vessels refused to, which is a violation of Rule 5. While I understand that they are under the impression that we can be walked all over the situation was needlessly aggravated by the Core's failure to adhere to the Laws set down by the Confederation of Freeports.

Good evening Mr Nemo,

I am Councilman Wolf of the Solar Runners. I'm actually a little unsure who currently holds the position of Administrator over Freeport 11 currently, but a short time ago the Solar Runners acted as de-facto coordinators for onboard security for the station, and I still operate a small office onboard.

Now, during my time here, and I don't believe anything has changed since, the no fire zone that typically protects the freeports, was "removed", for want of a better term. This decision was made due to the volatile nature of the system.

You see, a good number of varying, waring, parties traverse the sector on a regular basis, and fights break out all too often. Durning my time, it was decided that enforcing these rules and regulations beyond the walls of the Freeport was impractical, hence the decision to remove the no fire zone. I tasked my men in station security with working with the local groups in a friendly manner, as to ensure our requests to pull back from the station where adhered, rather than throwing law books at them.

My point is that the number of groups who would gladly tear each other's throats out, is a problem for Freeport 11 and its inhabitants. The solution I have found to work this far, is more diplomatic methods. This experience has in the past served me well.

I'd like to leave a final note to the Confederation who are no doubt deliberating on this currently. With my prior knowledge on the region and experience and familiarity with the station, I'd like to renew my request for administration, specifically for Freeport 11. I humbly request you accept this.

Yours,

Senior Councilman Joseph Wolf
Secretary of Fleets & Diplomatic Affairs

Eli, a really chubby pale man, scrolls through the local messages, one of it takes his attention. While he persues the messages, he attends to forward this to his old heart-throb Freya.
Greetings. It satisfies me that finally some wider attention of this topic takes place. What really concerns me is that I, myself was threatend from the Core right at this zoner installation. Having a NFZ is one thing, but getting pirated or attacked from these warmongers is completely something else. They pretend to do it just to offer protection.
Eli grabs one of his lovely candies and pulls it in his mouth while talking.
It isn't protection. It's totalitarianism. I'm just a researcher and a really good one I have to admit and I am a person who really dislikes aggression or other things which fall under primitive attitude, but lustering foreigners demanding my research cargo and threatening me in a location I should be save is out of any category. Of course Omicron Delta is a rather violent environment, but it doesn't justify us to tollerate or even support this.
