Just in time for a ramp up in Gallic offensive operations in Magellan, a senior Liberty Security Force official announced earlier today that their previously experimental spacecraft, the "Prowler", is to enter active service with several more on the way in limited production.

The project began in early eight-twenty A.S., with the LSF supposedly seeking a vessel capable of taking on "electronic warfare" equipment. After merely a year and a half of research and development, they are claiming that the vessel, a modified Ageira Technologies Liberator, is spaceworthy and ready for frontline action against the Gallics and any other enemies of the Republic.

Critics across Sirius on the Neural Net have already pointed out several flaws with the program and it's product, claiming that it is built upon an "asinine" philosophy with "abysmal" performance.

To this date, the project has cost the LSF three-hundred and sixty-two million credits, a surprisingly large sum of money when compared to much larger scale projects such as acquisition of the Freedom and Alaska last year. Each new unit, after undergoing extensive modifications, will cost the LSF around one-hundred and five million to requisition, a stunningly high price tag for such a small vessel already within the LSF's inventory.

LSF officials are hopeful that the Prowler will be a significant asset in recon and intelligence-gathering missions, especially as Liberty finds herself in more conflicts with Rheinland, Gallia, and Kusari.

Surprisingly, the Liberty Navy has already established and purchased a squadron of future operational Prowler vessels, Electronic Attack Squadron One-Forty-One. Also known as the Shadowhawks, the name was supposedly selected to pay homage to a pre-Exodus United States Navy electronic warfare squadron of identical designation and nickname. Navy officials have stated that they are "optimistic" of the Prowler's capabilities and hope for it to become a great asset in the future.

As of the date of this report, the squadron is primed to enter service within the next week, basing off of the Battleship Rio Grande in Colorado.
