As of the posting of this thread, Hardcore|Mode is now in effect across Core|.

What is HardCore|Mode?

This will be a new set of gameplay and roleplay guidelines within Core to give members their own goals to work towards. This is also a means to help members fully understand the roleplay and structure of the faction even more and to provide more depth to the Core| faction and the characters within.

The Core Official Faction now has the guidelines that all it's members and all it's future applicants are required to follow:

Closed Economy
Characters must make their own cash. No /givecash or /sendcash (unless it's from another Core| ship). Players found breaking this rule will be punished harshly. Cash can be shared between APM and Core characters. Players can make money for their characters by partaking in faction activities. This includes partaking in the faction Rewards and Achievements Board, mining/trading Iridium and escorting convoys, collecting fines via enforcing the law, joining a squad and receiving squad bonuses. Also doing things such as reporting intel could net your character some extra credits.

Ranking Structure
Core will still keep it's freedom that doesn't heavily restrict players from attaining the ships they want to fly, simply they'll just need to work towards that ship via in game activities. When the character has attained enough cash, they can post a request to buy the ship of their choice. There will still be a ranks. Ranks reflect status, both in and out of squads. Higher rank also means a higher pay from the Rewards and Achievements Board.
