SUBJECT: Corsair train captured

Guten Tag, Sehr geehrte members of Military and Büro Oberkommandos, polizeidirektorin Laura Carsten hier. I want to briefly inform you about event which happened two weeks ago and you may have use from the result.

On the 27th July were three polizei ships including mine and military gunboat from secondary fleet conducting two-group patrol in Rheinland space when kadett Albert Leopold reported that he spotted Corsair ship flying through open space in Hamburg system, heading towards Koeln jump hole. I was by luck in Koeln system just in that moment so I quickly flew towards the ship to cut off the intruder and later I successfully managed to do so. But main credit goes to kadett which spotted the ship which was trying to sneak through Rheinland territory without using trade lanes.

Anyway, it turned out that the ship is not well known - at least for polizei - Essedarius class Corsair train, which I actually saw for first time with my own eyes. And it was trying to smuggle premium scrap to their shipyards, as captain admitted. He also said interesting information that the scrap is from base named Beaumont Spire in Texas system, which as far as I know belongs to Junkers. Obviously, Corsairs acquire at least part of materials for their shipbuilding industry from them in Liberty and then smuggle it to their home in Omicrons through Rheinland.

But to finish the story - captain decided to surrender, so we escorted the ship back to Hamburg system where the crew surrendered to Vierlande guards under supervision of kadett. He really made excellent work there. And now, we have this ship...

Thus, polizei would like to offer you possibility to study the ship which is still detained on Vierlande. Intact Corsair transport ship provides unique opportunity to find out more about their transport capabilities, routes, navigation and other systems and so on. Unless you were not able to capture and study the ship yourselves already in the past, of course. If this is the case, I apologize for taking your time. But maybe you could at least utilize documentation about the capture of the ship, basic scans of the equipment and also record of the communication. I´m uploading the data package now...

SUBJECT: Corsair Train

Polizeidirektorin Carsten.

Guten Tag, I am Hauptmann Dominik Albrecht, and I was assigned by the admiralty on this subject. As always the polizei are doing an excellent job keeping Rheinland clean and safe from this kind of trash. I am not sure if the Buro has contacted you already, as you addressed them as well. But the admiralty has discussed about this and we think further study of the vessel is appropriate, like you have already mentioned, we might get important information of its flight routes, possibly hidden bases, and systems we do not know of, they might use to smuggle these materials and possibly contraband.

Although we are indeed interested in the information the vessel carries, we want to leave the investigation process to the Buro. As you probably know, the military is moving its resources for the Hudson-Bering crisis, and we believe that the BDM will be more suited for this task at the moment. I do not believe they have given you an answer on this. So I'll be boosting the signal and sending a copy of your message with a link to this channel to the Buro.
Also, we'll be taking logs from the blackbox for investigation, Thank you.

Grüße von der Admiralität , auf Wiedersehen .
