My name is Keiji Namura, and I have recently been awarded the position of Guildmaster of the Gas Miners Guild as Chen Cong's replacement, due to his retirement. Despite this change in leadership, GMG is still committed to upholding the mutually amicable relations enjoyed by our two organisations.

The Guild is very aware of the history of Freeport 7, particularly its unexpected destruction in 800 AS. Due to the passage of time, its unannounced reconstruction 22 years later is a project we find to be quite peculiar. Sigma-17 is a system The Guild would much like to declare as its own, but despite these efforts, it is still not a territory we would consider secure enough to harbour a civilian installation. I would consequently like to make it clear that The Guild was not informed of, nor did it approve of this independent project.

In order to further both of our interests, I am requesting you gather any further intelligence you can on this unexpected enterprise. Once you have passed over any information you have managed to gather, we can then contact the owners of this new installation and scrutinise their intentions. It would be quite impolite to ask you conduct this affair purely out of your own pocket, so I am prepared to personally compensate your efforts with fifty million Sirius Credits.
