»STARTING MESSAGE«

Good evening Guildmaster Keiji Namura, and Ryukyu Guild administration,

Recently, I’ve come across an interesting sighting while flying towards the Sigma-17 Jump Hole. Before continuing through the Jump Hole, I noticed a particular Samura vessel docking at what appears to be a Corsair station in Sigma-13.

This one supposedly docked at there because he simply “felt like it” - I didn’t quite catch what cargo he had when he first docked, but he had Rheinbier upon undocking, so nothing of interest.

Here’s the relevant data:

Name: Samura|-Firippu`2
Vessel Class: Transport
Vessel docking | Base Affiliation | Vessel undocking | Intercepting | Cargo Scan | ID Scan

S. Raven

Keeper Raven,

The Guild is in your debt.

The presence of a Corsair base in Sigma-13 is a matter of utmost severity. As you appear to be aware, they are considered enemies of The Guild, and it seems they are as friendly with their Samuran lapdogs as ever.

As a result of your timely tip-off, I was personally able to confirm the location of this so-called Lagos Depot, which is of great importance to the security of the system it resides in. As you saw when I arrived, the Samura ship managed to take shelter on Atka Station before I had much time to take action, but that is a minuscule speedbump behind an enormous victory.

The GMG paramilitary will now be taking the appropriate steps.

Respectfully,

Keiji Namura

Haisai.

We have always known that the Samura corruption was rampant, but this is a blunt slap to the face. We will increase our patrols around the location of the corsair presence and the jump holes around that section of space.

I would also like to thank you for this information, we will remember this in the future. If there is anything you may need from the Ryukyu Guild, just ask and I believe we will be able to open a new chapter between our two organizations.

Good day Guildmaster Namura.

I recently caught a Samura transport vessel that was inbound to Sigma-17 in Omicron Theta, in proximity to the Jump Hole. The vessel in question was supposedly inbound for Atka Station with a cargo hold full of Artifacts. I wish to report this vessel and to verify for ‘validity’ of the vessel. But, from your previous interpretations of the said organisation, I have doubts about it.

Evidence as following:

Keeper Raven,

I am happy to hear from you again.

There is a well-documented friendship between Samura and the Corsairs, with the former pushing the latter's artifacts through Guild space in violation of Guild law, and into Kusari. They are also known to ship general supplies to Corsair space. I am not aware of a reason Cryer Pharmaceuticals would be interested in artifacts, so it is possible the Samura pilot was merely lying. However, this is something to be investigated regardless, should it be truth.

In another matter, I am curious about the relationship between yourself and Samura, and why you feel it necessary to report their activities to us. These reports are of course greatly appreciated, and I feel it may be possible to further our cooperation should we share motivations.

Respectfully,

Keiji Namura

Guildmaster Namura,

We've have no formal meeting with the Samura, and I have only heard glimpse rumours of them working with the Corsairs. Of course, I don't like to act upon constructed information, but rather, information that is factual. We like to keep away from civilians when it comes to our operations though. But as you can imagine, we hold no appreciation for the Corsairs either. Especially with those who work along with them.

This is certainly problematic if Samura is hauling away potentionally active and dangerous items into the colonies in the name of profit, and it is especially problematic if they are a supply source for the widely known cannibalistic bandit group known as the Corsairs.

I reached out to you to inform you of the vessel that was hauling the said cargo - incase if you ran into the vessel within the future, and to also find out if it was truly 'legal'

Keeper Raven,

It is confirmed that Samura is a major player in the artifact business, being so bold as to fly through the Sigmas with their precious cargo.

We will remain vigilant and intercept these smuggling operations whenever possible. Should you wish to transfer any information in the future, this channel will remain secure and open.

Respectfully,

Keiji Namura
