With the cooperation of AP Manufacturing, Core pilots may request a personal Capital Ship to be constructed for them, if they wish to achieve a Capital Ship before reaching the appropriate rank. This, however, is no easy task and such impatience must be bested by hard work and determination - proof that you deserve a Capital ship.

This is one of many production facilities on Alabama Shipyard. Deliveries of materials and progress of ship construction can be found here.

Only pilots of the Core| primary fleet may request the construction of a ship, whereby transports vessels will then deliver the materials for construction. Only Core pilots of Knight rank may request a ship here.

// This is also a means to allow Core| players to roleplay the construction of their vessel, and to canonise them. Whilst the shareds are neat, they don't allow for players to create personal attachments to those ships. This will ultimately allow them to take their non-canon capital out of this thread and place it in the canon thread instead. However, before doing that a profile of the ship must be made in the non-canon thread first.

CORE CAPITAL SHIPS

THE AP-430 "THRESHER" CORE DESTROYER When the Core started to operate in Nomad space, they encountered unexpected hardships - even the most advanced Hammerheads were unable to survive in hostile environment. Because of the enormous potential profits, they invested into developing a new Destroyer-class ship that was later prototyped at Liberty military shipyards. With their new destroyers, the Core felt much more confident among their Nomad, Corsair and Order enemies, being able to hunt Nomads. These destroyers are now constructed by the Core at a secure facility in the Omicrons. THE AP-540 "BULLHEAD" CORE BATTLECRUISER An advanced and heavily-reinforced variant of the Core Destroyer, the Bullhead is used for major combat deployments that involve countering enemy capital ships. This ship's hull can withstand the fire of heavy battleship weaponry, and an advanced energy supply provides for impressive firepower. However, due to its reduced manoeuvrability, the Battlecruiser can be vulnerable to enemy bombers, and so it rarely takes to the battlefield without its own fighter escort. THE AP-609 "MAKO" CORE BATTLESHIP The construction of the first Core Battleship became a symbol of the faction's rising influence. Originally just a loose association of bounty hunters bold enough to tackle contracts in the Omicrons, the Core grew into a rich and powerful paramilitary faction. The new Core Battleships are intended to operate in remote Edge Worlds systems, defending station construction sites and spearheading assaults into uncharted deep space. Please document your deliveries in the AP Manufacturing Contracts and Reporting Channel. You may also contract third parties, such as Zoners and Junkers, to assist with deliveries. Once you have completed all of the deliveries, submit a request here for the High Command to permit your vessel.
