Good afternoon, this is the first broadcast of Atlantis Metropolitan News Service. I’m your host Eliza Cassan. I am happy to broadcast our first news report directly to the residents of Lambda Atlantis and the Nation of Malta. But first, we shall develop onto our first news broadcast.

Welfare Program announced

Current expansions of employment on Atlantis Metropolitan have forced an introduction of the Atlantis welfare expansion program. Atlantis has set aside a large sum of its development budget towards welfare housing and supplies for its employees. But also large amounts of stock and necessities required by those in need ready for either purchase by Credits or Welfare points. But state housing is also looking at expansion with recent movements moving towards the province of Rosa Sannat, most welcomed with open arms towards the more modern living conditions that Atlantis provides. Arms contract between Kusarian Organizations

Research and development into advanced products have seen that Atlantis released its first weapon systems in recent weeks. Atlantis opens positions on Cartagena

Reports from Atlantis logistics states that recent acquisition of Cartagena shipyard’s multiple dry-docks have seen instant use within the past few months. Atlantis announced the launch of their secondary logistics fleet with the construction of two dozen “Herron” class container Trains. But with this demand, Atlantis is demanding more transfers and introduction of more personnel within their logistic fleets. And with the recent surge of these transports, Atlantis Manufacturing has estimated that positions are opened up for a further 2,000 job positions available to selected workforce employees. Such as transport crew, logistic teams, station management and accountant positions.

National Council finalizes partnership with Atlantis

By a surprise buyout, the National Council of Malta has placed a large investment within the Atlantis Corporation. A 16-billion credit buyout was something of a risky move but resorted to purchasing a 45% share of the Corporations industrial and commercial sector. They wish that this new investment would allow for Atlantis to expand its operations throughout the Maltese Planetside area and hopefully introduce a more mainstream work life to its residents. Although friction has been seen between other Maltese organizations such as the San-Marcos family who condemn the operations of Atlantis implying that "A corporate organization like them have no place on Maltas future culture." Many people are warming up to the more organized and commercialized area seeing it as a evolving modern Marvel. The National Council is hoping to promote this by not having direct ties with the organization with its political advantage but also place Atlantis Manufacturing as its main front logistics for themselves and towards other organizations Sirius-Wide. Including their construction, shipping and manufacturing details.

Domestic expansion into Xlendi Bay

The small village of Xlendi Bay near the southern area of the Maltese coast mainland has agreed for land ownership to be handed over to the Atlantis corporation from a surprise buy-out from the families of San-Xmun. Mainly a food production plantation and partially barren area, Atlantis is hoping to increase both its food production with obtaining its plantation and services for its projected increasing solar-power demand by constructing a new super-grid.
