One of my characters is in the Liberty Navy, [LN]-Jack.Malrone, and i encounter a heap of smugglers, pirates and other miscellaneous ships which i take snapshots of to post in the message dump. However my computer isn't the fastest, and everytime i open the folder containing the pictures, it takes like 10 minutes to properly load, mainly because all the screenshots from Freelancer are taken in Bitmap form. My question is: How can i get Freelancer to take screenshots in JPEG form, so they are much smaller in size and easier to upload to ImageShak.

Start Menu > Programs > Accessories > Paint

Open the .bmp image with Microsoft Paint and Save As a .jpg

Yeah, i can convert them, but is there any way that i can get Freelancer to save them as a JPEG, instead of having to convert them?

Buy FRAPS.
http://www.fraps.com/

Its worth it.:)

Can take screen shots in a few popular high quality formats. Otherwise, find a converter that will convert selected screen shots in bulk. I have never used one, so don't ask me for any names.

I use xfire, it takes the screenshot ingame and uploads it to the net for you, also does video and it's free:)
