House Schemes - chovynz - 10-31-2008 Hello all. Been thinking on and off over the last few months about this issue. It's related to house images, house flags and etc. It's the general way we perceive the houses. It's an issue that came up for me when I started that (now-nonexistant) ZOI Map. Of particular interest to me is the colors of the houses. I would like to find out what we should do about this, as it affects more things than people realize. It affects ways and thinking methods of designers when coming up with House flags, people who create ZOI maps, ship perception, space continuity and some other big words which I dont know the meaning of but sound impressive. In some cases it can even affect certain roleplay. I think that the "overall" color of Liberty is Blue. The major lawful factions that operate in these places are the ones that set that feeling based of pre-designed motifs by the Freelancer Developers. And the subseqeunt player factions have mostly followed this theme/scheme as well. Now, I think this is a good thing. Liberty: Main Color: Blue Country based on: America Associated Lawful factions LSF, LPI, LN, Synth Foods Associated unlawful factions: LR, LH, OC, HF, XA, BS Associated images: Kusari: Main Color: Red/Green Country based on: Japan Rheinland: Main Color: Green/Grey/Dark Red Country based on: Germany Bretonia: Main Color: Blue/Red (Union Jack style) Country based on: Britain Gallia: Main Color: Blue/Red/White (french flag, fleur-de-lis) Country based on: France Outcasts: Main Color: Orange? Country based on: Spain? Corsairs: Main Color: Dark Red?/Yellow? Country based on: Spain? The question I have is this. As far As Im aware we do this with the other houses as well, and if so, what do you think the Outcasts and Corsairs main color should be? Is the question clear or do I need to clarify? House Schemes - Rashnok - 10-31-2008 I'd say Kusari is more brown and blue/purple. Outcasts would almost definitely be orange. The Corsairs? Probably yellow.
