PRIZES:

1st place: 1000 Scientific Data + 150 Million Credits
2nd place: 500 Scientific Data + 50 million Credits
3rd place: Contrails of your choice in color + 15 million Credits
4th place: 10 million Credits

Background:

While the Archangels are known to be a troublesome group, they make up for it in other ways such as helping civilians in escorting operations or shooting down some wanted bandits. Another public relations stunt is the Hegemon Rumble event. Taking place in capitol houses systems, the Archangels make friendly acquaintances with the local police forces, paying a large fee to be able to use the lanes for racing. Mining and Trading corporations are invited, both big and small, to attend. For subscribers, the Archangels advertise during the event their products or services while the competitors settle their rivalry along the lanes. Hegemons are brought in after repairs, saved from the scrap yard, to race for perhaps one final time in an event which promises to be full for bumps and crashes.

1. A Hegemon crew!!
THIS is your hegemon monster racer!

-No armor
-SHIELDS ALLOWED (New!!)
-No guns/turrets OF ANY KIND
-NO BOTS/BATS

2. A Light Fighter Interceptor!!
THIS is your devious escort!

He can move backwards and forwards on the track! Keep this in mind!

-No armor
-No guns
-CDs Allowed!
-Mines Allowed!
-CMs Allowed!
-NO BOTS/BATS

3. A Repair ship crew!
THIS is your life-line!!!

There will be a standard of one Repair Ship supplied to all racers.
First come - First serve!
Bring your own if you want one for only your team!

-No Hull Damaging Guns
-No CDs

NOTE: You do not need a full team! A standard team comprises of an Interceptor and a Hegemon! The minimum needed is ONE HEGEMON!

THREE: KNOW YOUR ROLE! :

1. Hegemon: Your goal is to get to the finish line!
2. Interceptor: Your goal is to try to slow down the competition! You can influence any opposing team.
3. Pit Crew!: Your goal is to keep #1 and #2 alive and moving quick and efficiently!

The Repair Pit will be also on the starting area and the repair ships must SIT stationary and have the hegemons that need repairs come to them to repair.
If there are bumps/guns the repair crew is allowed to move a little to compensate.

FOUR: NO DOCKING Except for the Pit Crew
For resupplying, the pit crew is allowed to dock and get additional ammunition that they can send to the racers via a trade transaction.

FIVE: IF YOU CRASH YOU ARE OUT!
If any team member crashes or blows up they are out. The team however can move on provided that the Hegemon is still able to race.

SIX:FOLLOW THE LANES AND NO SHORT-CUTS.
If a other participant sees cheating then they can report it with proof for a disqualification.

SEVEN: NO JUMP-DRIVES, CLOAKING, OR DOCKING MODULES
EIGHT:[/size] 10 Laps for the Hegemon to win the race! No more, no less!
