WARNING: INCOMING RANT:
Ok devs, you just made Lambda nearly worthless in my opinion, despite the jump hole to Munich because you moved 94 to where Lambda was. The whole point of 94 was to be the Corsair version of 81, not a buffer system to Eta.
You also made Lambda just a bit of extra space between 94 and Munich, which isn't good for the whole "Edge World Jump Hole connection" thing because there is so much distance between the Rheinland connection and the other connections to these two systems.
It would have been so much better if you just left the two systems where they were and made the jump hole between Munich and Lambda that way. That way Lambda would be a good system for launching strikes against both Outcast and Rheinland territory, not just some extra space.
I'd prefer if 94 was moved back to it's original position until we can figure out a better place to put it in. I believe that this decision was only made to prevent Rheinland from raiding regular Omicron systems 24/7, but the truth is that allowing those raids on a useful system might not be such a bad idea, since Corsair space needs more activity as it is.
Devs, please fix this so that Lambda can be more useful.

So far as I know, the current system configuration is very much temporary and will be addressed shortly. In the interim, it's just an access point for Rheinland to get at the Corsairs and vice versa. More is on the way.
Basically, yes, it is going to be more useful. Very much so.

To elaborate a bit however, Lambda is/was not a very useful system outside of being a raid corridor and contained nothing of interest or value. 94, on the other hand, does.
Take 94 as being the Corsair equivalent of California and Gamma as the Corsair equivalent of New York. 94 is a very nicely made system with quite a lot of historic value, lore value, and could be a very fun place to fight. It makes the enemy feel like they're accomplishing something when they attack a system that has enemy assets in it rather than just fighting in open space. Corsairs might be inclined to defend it instead of waiting around in Gamma for Outcasts or RM to show up, and on top of that the system is capable of acting as a trade hub as well, which Lambda has zero value as.
I can assure you that the intent is not to stop Rheinland from raiding 24/7, if anything that's something I'd like to see more of. It was used as a stopgap measure to ensure Rheinland had any connection at all. Without it there, the economy would be far too broken and Xoria wasn't around at the time to fix it. This will be rectified in coming patches.

Alright. Now, about what you'll do with Lambda in the future, do you think you'll removing it? If so, there are a couple of bases there you can use for placing in areas Corsairs need more influence in. As for 94, it's better to re-direct the Munich jump hole to there in my opinion.
Also, could you move the Gamma jump hole to where that unstable jump hole was, or some other area in the southern reaches of 94? It's far too close to the Eta jump hole at the moment. I just thought of something as well: What if we made 81 replace Beta's position?
Beta could still be used for stuff, but 81 would be far better for raiding than Beta. Now that I think about it, it sounds like a huge step up from the Alpha-Beta-Eta-Lambda-Gamma raid route. Imagine an Alpha-81-Eta-94-Gamma raid route. I figure that raid route would be a lot more fun to use.
What do you think? Any way we can make this better?

The plan is to merge Lambda into 94, retaining the name of Omicron Lambda.
We also have plans to make the Alpha - Gamma route shorter. A three way fight between the RM, Outcasts, and Corsairs could become a possibility.
