Sigma Wing Recruitment - Sigma Wing - 01-23-2016 In early 823 AS, a small but enterprising Hogosha family looking to make it big looked beyond Kusari's borders to seek out wealth, perceiving the families within Kusari as too established to make any significant moves there. Gallia had been staked out by the big players almost as soon as a Jump Gate connection was made, the Taus were under lockdown due to the situation there, but the Sigmas were ripe for the taking. Outside of House control and taxation, one could get fabulously wealthy, and with no regulations to speak of (// Why hello, Core|. Fancy meeting you here.), acquiring that wealth could be done more... underhandedly. Unfortunately for the would-be profiteers, a few things stood in the way. Nothing major, just a few gas miners, the odd Outcast, the Junker Marauders, nothing consequential. But they were there. These foreigners polluting Kusari, and by extension Hogosha property, were unacceptable. They would have to be removed... preferably through explosive decompression. Hunting Grounds The Sigmas contain the GMG menace and a conduit for the Outcasts to peddle their orange grass. GMG and Outcasts are unworthy of life and are to be purged on sight. The GMG can often be seen running the lanes between Sigma-19 and Okinawa. Perhaps a little interdiction is in order. Liberty has a large Junker population near Rochester Base (New York, top left of D3) It would benefit the Kusari people if that rat pack were to be thinned somewhat. The Junker Marauders can be seen in literally every section of the Borderworlds. There is certainly no shortage of targets. Note that regular folks that aren't in the Taus or Sigmas are to be left alone. The Blood Dragons and GC infest Kusari core space. They are known to have cordial diplomatic relations with both the GMG scum, and the Outcast monsters. The deep Taus have the Independent Miner's Guild. These freeroam foreigners happen to have a common enemy with us in the Outcasts and Junker Marauders. Let's try to make nice with them for the time being. Kepler has a noticeable Xeno and Junker presence, and they should be cleaned out for the wealth and prosperity of the Kusari people. Galileo has GC attempting to smuggle Cardamine to Sirius's most vulnerable. While Sigma Wing is out to earn profit, we earn it honestly, and not through peddling substances that hurt their users yet force them (the user) to continue using them (the substances). That's not even just dishonorable. That's sick, and should be stamped out. Tau-23, Tau-29, and Tau-31 have a considerable Gallic Royal Navy presence. 343 is also operating in the area. Support 343 in their operations against the Royal Navy. Those foreigners will rue the day they attacked Kusari. Citizens of other Houses are to be left well alone unless they are in our zone of interest, in which case they are to be taxed, fined and expelled, or exterminated. (Zone of Influence: Kusari, systems directly bordering Kusari, Lyonnais , Taus , Sigmas) OoRP section What kind of implied perks are there? (edited from "Why join?") Hogosha JM|. -or- Anti-JM| faction. -or- Free blues. Seriously, they all but come to you here. -or- Hilariously lax standards in what ships you fly. Planned events Assault on Aomori - Sigma Wing ships approach Aomori with a ship carrying a boarding party intent on capturing or disabling it. Are GMG bad enough dudes to save the station? Ogashawa Open House - A massive Sigma Wing assault on Gas Miner Ogashawa covers boarding and capturing of the Gas Miners throughout Sigma-19. Will GMG let this stand? Niigata Raid - Emboldened by recent events, a Sigma Wing strike force strikes directly at Niigata Station. Blade of Malta - The Outcasts see both groups committing their forces against the other and send in their navy to clean both out. Good old three-way brawl with the Outcasts having caps, GMG having nebula, and Sigma Wing having Kusari toys. Who will still be standing? Mailed Fist of Crete - The Corsairs/Hogosha/Farmer's Alliance slice their way through the Sigma-13 system for an assault on Manoel Outpost. A combined force of GCs, Blood Dragons, and Outcasts moves to meet them. Who will take home the championship? Sign up for this prestigious band of madmen with the form provided.
