Evening folks.
The Arleigh Burke was on patrol in the Hudson system - as I was returning to Barrow Base my scanners picked up the unmistakable signature of a Nomad vessel. Appeared to be about gunboat sized so I proceeded to engage. It didn't go so well, the Burke ended up heavily damaged, the crew are shaken but atleast we're not dead. I'm not entirely sure why the vessel was parked next to the Texas jumpgate and it didn't seem to hang around for very long afterwards. Fortunately we made it back to Barrow for repairs.

Morning folks.
I took the Burke out on patrol of the Bering and Hudson systems today. Nothing particularly exciting happened however I did attempt to chase a smuggler into Hamburg - He managed to evade me but I encountered a Military Cruiser on the border with New Berlin. Had a chat with the Captain onboard, apparently interesting times ahead in Rheinland. Logs attached below.

Evening,
I spent the day aiding our allies within Rheinland. Took the SNS Dallas out to Thuringia and began running riot suppression gear to Stuttgart and returning with evacuees from the planet. Granted the Bison isn't the most comfortable ride for the politicians but they arrived entirely unharmed. I delivered somewhere in the region of fourty thousand units of Riot Gear and returned the same number of evacuees to Planet Weimar. I had federal escort for a short while but the majority of the time I was alone - The Imperial elements within Rheinland never managed to intercept me.
Hopefully they'll remember this.

We proceeded to engage the Navy forces. Despite our best efforts they had larger numbers and bigger guns. We managed to down an LSF Cruiser along with a couple of Navy snub craft, along with support from the Xeno Alliance. I disengaged from the fight along with the Juneau after it was clear we were outgunned.

This may sound like I am a narcists which I'm not, but I'm sure with some resources and a bit of time I can develop something that will give us a clear advantage over this ugly and outdated liberty technology. Even if I would fly the cheapest ship and someone would offer me those weapons for free I would not accept them. I truly hope that you see the need yourself of an own weapon line but, this is up to you. I offer you my service to develop said weapon line but, I don't have a lot of resources that I could use for it so I need some help.

I went on my first patrol mission this evening in the Bering system. 10 minutes into the patrol, I spotted a friendly target on my radar. I decided to approach the vessel to take a closer look. During the time of uncertainty in the past week, we have to make sure all vessels in the Bering system are identified. The vessel was intercepted about 15km from the Marshall Base, he identified himself as "Da Rogue Pack" and that he was running shipments for the Separatists. I immediately welcomed him in open arms and let him proceed. Our relationship with the Rogues is benefitting us during The Scouring of Bering, thanks to our allies, all the shipments that need to be transported to Galveston is scheduled on time.

They won this day but we all know there will always be a tomorrow.

Like every other Warship in our arsenal, crew rotations are common and the Amenhotep is no exception. Starting next week the we will start cycling new recruits and veterans to and from the Amenhotep. Training is important and we will ensure all recruits get the training they will need to survive. It also benefits the original crew of the Amenhotep to get some much deserved R&R on Veracruz. I will leave the tasking of new recruits to the Amenhotep to the Admiralty.

After inspecting Galveston Dave Moose came around talking about how he heard about Marshall's fall and wondered if Fleet Admiral Knight was killed. As i did not have access to our records I found out some time after who he really was. A lieutenant who went AWOL. After some prodding I got some decent information out of him. He plans on rejoining the Core, he also stated he has been in the area of Coronado and Bretonia. This is problematic because he can give them valuable information on the Insurgency and the Core are allied with House Liberty. We will need to find a way to silence him before he makes that transition. I have attached the black box recording for your review. I tried to hire a roaming freelancer that can keep up with his saber to take him out. Sadly he refused. The Liberty Navy came towards Galveston but was fended off by the Defense grid.
