My name is Augustus Blackwood, I am contacting in regards to my employee and compatriot of yours a Mr. Enzo Dance, as you are well aware on the evening and night of the 9/2/823 A.S, during what can only be described as a complete and utter debacle, Mr. Dance’s ship suffered complete and catastrophic case of structural integrity failure. Unfortunately due to failures in the escape pod navigational systems combined with the injuries Mr. Dance suffered, led it to crash land on Planet Los Angeles, once my agents present on Los Angeles located the wreckage of Mr. Dance’s pod and a delirious inhabitant, I brought Mr Dance to an appropriate medical facility to allow for recovery in the best surrounds, according to the doctor treating Mr Dance, his current condition is classified as serious but stable however he has been making good progress. Thus, I envisage moving him shortly to Gran Canaria should Mr. Dance’s health allow it.
However due to a myriad of reasons primarily a consequence of Mr. Dance’s actions, but also given the circumstances surrounding the incident I feel that it would be most appropriate to put both Mr. Dance and you on gardening leave for the duration of Mr. Dance’s recuperation. However given your status as a freelance shipper, you are entitled to resume completing contracts as soon as you wish, in addition, I am sure you probably have questions regarding Mr. Dance or myself. As I also feel that it would be appropriate that we should have a clearer relationship going forward, I am extending you a unique opportunity so I advise you use it wisely.

I had not had any message from him so I stopped to worry - after taking shelter due to recent events and strange AI incrusion (callsign XT- series) into Eastern Liberty and Eastern Independents. However, I have noticed that there were other consequences that made Mr Dance temporarly withdrawn from contact with me - would you mind, if I asked why?

I suspected as much you don’t strike me as a man, who would sit idly by and let the time flow you can expect new contracts to be handed to you shortly.
Now onto other matter, first answer to your direct question, in regards to Mr Dance not being in contact with you outside his current incapacitation, this is likely due to his work for me in Kusari drawing him away. This work is chiefly drawing up plans and laying the groundwork for the institute’s operations during the upcoming Kusari civil war should it get as bad as predicted which is sad for a region which is so beautiful and unique amongst the houses. Now, in addition, I believe he was also pursuing research into the abandoned base as well as finding a way to deal with the Xeno problem.
Now as for the second part, I work for the Veritas Institute a Sirius-wide consultancy firm which deals with individuals across the entire political spectrum mainly dealing with discrete matters and other matters that require absolute denial for which they pay a premium. Now Mr Dance is our main enforcer as well as a senior agent specialising in sensitive cargo. As you can imagine when dealing with discrete information some try to abscond or break their contracts with the institute. This is unacceptable in the institute’s eyes and thus, Mr Dance and his team deals with them in the most appropriate manner. Occasionally Mr Dance will also be asked to deal with less physical and direct tasks and ones that require a diplomatic touch.
Now your words of AI incursion surprised me, not the fact of an AI incursion but the locations being so far from where I believed they originated. It would be of great importance and help if you have any gun camera’s shots of these as you can imagine Mr Dance’s gun camera was not retrievable, to forward them to me thus aiding me in my investigations. Of course, should you choose not to then that is your prerogative but rest assured there is a substantive reward for you to do so.

Ah yes, Kusari... Place for three-sided civil war. To be honest, I am trying my best not to be involved into this conflict, despite the fact my mother-in-law hails from Hogosha. It is a bad business to be associated with one side only - and if you were found to successfully deal with all sides, you may find yourself dead sooner or later.
As for the incrusion of rogue AI, I think I will not do much harm if I give you access to copy of the message - with all attachments - that I had sent to LSF the other day. I entirely trust you about the content. Trust is the most vital resource these days, I must say.
