Some time ago we encounter each other in front of New Berlin while I was undercover. Due to the nature of my mission and the timing of the encounter it was a little difficult to explain to you why and what exactly was going on. That is why I am sending you this communique in the hope to resolve these faults in the information exchange of agent dossiers. I'll be trying to get you up to speed on my current situation

Some time ago (+2 years) I was send on a mission to pursue leads beyond the borders of Rheinland.* To be able to work without running into trouble a cover story was set in place. Me, an ex Republican pilot, set out on her own as a Freelancer. Remaining lawful she would try to gain trust from the peace keepings forces of mainly Liberty. There are enough rumours of deserters out there and my main goal was to track these down. In these two years I have been working on this I returned some pilots to Rheinland, not all of them were alive however but at least their names could be taken of the list.

With the upcoming treaty with Liberty the mission has been downscaled and no longer requires my full attention as possible leads to Rheinland pilots that deserted us may be resolved via more open channels with Liberty. I however have my doubts about the willingness that Liberty might show in this matter. Never the less I still have my connections and leads to pursue and gaining trust from Navy, LSF or even the police is never a bad thing, this is why I'll be retaining my Freelancer status who will remain unrelated to the buro. Currently I'm being more and more trusted by a person named Norman O'Connor who seems to have leads towards the LSF, so far I haven't managed to gain much intel but we are working on that. My problem remains that I cannot afford any slip up with the current state of diplomacy between Rheinland and Liberty.

Personally I am happy that I'm able to drop my cover every now and then and return flying in a wraith performing more common duties within Rheinland. Being active here often feels as if I am doing more valuable work simply because the results will be there instantly. Take for example yesterday when New Berlin was plagued with all sorts of 'bad' people... or things.* This encounter however added some nuances to my future as a nomad entity known as Ish'tar mentioned my actual name with people hanging around all over the place. I don't think many would have connected it to 'Schwungvoll' but I will have to be cautious about the future.

A pilot with the name Noah Xonnel may have caught on with the nomad about my true identity as said pilot knows me and worked with me while I was being a Freelancer. He tried to contact me on my wraith after the incident but some scrambling of my voice seemed to have put him off as he would not have recognized it. This pilot later came to me aid when I was in heavy combat with two Corsair patrols who had a combined force of 9 small craft.

A brief summery, currently I am active as a Freelancer known with my original name 'Inge Wexler' who was fired by Republican due to budget cuts. Due to this she set out as a Freelance escort pilot, mainly outside Rheinland. With the current diplomatic status between Rheinland and Liberty I gained more time to assist Rheinland at home as an MND pilot going by the IFF of 'Schwungvoll'.

You can't believe how nice it actually was to see an agent flying openly through the omicrons, made me feel a bit more at home. However with me being undercover it was impossible to communicate directly which was a pity. I had a little giggle when seeing some pirate trying to rob him and he offered me a pay to get rid of said pirate just so that he could sit back. Sadly I had to reject the offer since I was otherwise occupied.

To explain the situation, these events took place after a major skirmish in Omicron Kappa involving just about any faction you can find there, Order, Core, Nomads and mainly the AI's. Norman O'Connor signed me up for this one, promised it would be an escort mission which it mainly was. An automated transport had to be moved through Kappa. Me, Norman and this Noah Xonnel were the paid escorts. The client was Markus Tezaurus, some rich business man who offered us more harmless escort services in the past.

This mission turned out to be a little more harmful, the transport was filled with explosives and marked a AI database on the surface of Gammu. It flew head on into the planet and caused a massive explosion, this in the hope to neutralize XT marked AI vessels. All of this was Markus' plan, something I only heard about just before we arrived in Kappa itself. He however did mention that these specific AI vessels tried to disrupt his business and were after him for quite a while. This final act was supposed to be the end of it.

The carrier you see is property of this Markus Tezaurus. Since the event drew so much attention the Order stayed around out of interest, so did the Core who are cloaked at this time. The jump was 'random' we ended up back in Kappa some 300k or more from the center. This of course could also have been the AI playing havoc with his systems. Never the less, the Core uncloaked and confiscated his nomad cargo. We escorted the Carrier back to Freeport 11 where it would restock on fuel and make another jump.

Long story short, it was an escort mission. It was impossible for me to act on anything I saw due to being undercover. Knowing the Omicrons all sorts of parties take interest in nomad items, in this case the Core managed to take it all. I'll see if I can dig up come gunscams of my own once I have access to my ship again, it's currently being repaired after I ran into some trouble.

Something interesting has crossed my path while I was out in the field. If possible I would like to meet or at least be able to talk to you again in the upcoming days since this event made me obtain an object I'd rather not hold in my possession for too long. I'm not comfortable with sending you more information than this over the current channel, so I hope you do not mind my request to meet somewhere. If you can forward me a time and place then I would really appreciate that. There might however be a chance that I will run into unforeseen events which might tie me down for a while.

My MND commander Dieter Jung might have contacted you by now since I got myself in a bit of a troublesome situation. The ordered arrest against Norman O'Connor didn't play out as planned, this cut me off from any form of communication for a while. The following happened:

Me and a few agents had it all set up but somehow Norman managed to get air of what was about to happen to him and before I knew what happened I found myself unconscious. When I woke up I was tied down and blind folded, shortly after I was dragged around before an explosion messed everything up even more. Apparently Norman has his own issues and some enemies of his blew up his apartment, almost catching me in the blast. I managed to get away fairly unharmed but it took me a while to get my bearings and report to an agent on Manhattan and request for an extraction.

I've just had my medical checkups and everything is cleared. However I feel as if someone tried to probe my mind as I keep having strange nightmares and I am barely able to get some sleep but nothing some drugs won't fix. I'll be taking it easy for the upcoming days, or at least this is the plan. Due to this incident with Norman I haven't been able to continue my work on your case 'Adlerauge'. However since these 'targets' trust me enough I might be able to return to them fairly quickly and continue my work.

But, before I do anything, I thought it would be wise if we arranged a new meeting again. Catch up on both sides?

Hereby the dossiers you have requested about the three individuals Noah Xonnel, Sapphire Raven and Joshua Hunt. I have also included an extra file that has the information of individuals that I met during the investigation. The investigation has had its hiccups due to me having to lie my way around to maintain my cover but so far it has been going alright. To gain more intel I have signed up for the Auxesian forces under an alias, she goes by the name Miri Keating, she also flies the vessel Green Sparrow. If you ever happen to run into her, then you will know that this is me.

It came to my knowledge that the BDM and Hunt share a certain bond mostly related via Geoff Enfield as they used to work together on a certain weapon. I will explain this further in the specific dossiers. I am sure you're already aware of the dealings and relationships that Geoff and Hunt share. They both seem to dislike each other, yet you and Hunt seem to be friends, or at least that's what I am hearing. Having this investigation shows distrust something I've also seen from Raven towards the BDM, possibly an opinion that was influenced by Hunt.

Moments ago I received word that the Auxesian fleet is moving towards the Koeln system and is undergoing a repair phase. There has been a security breach but it wasn't made clear to me what it really was. Not too long ago however there was a Liberty Navy pilot snatched in the Auxesian houses on Canaria. How this panned out in the end wasn't completely clear to me either.

On a more personal note, I'm glad that you're back on your feet again. I was beginning to worry myself when I was unable to get a reply, knowing the illness you're dealing with. I think it would be good to discuss what my orders would be in the case of you becoming unreachable, although I'd rather not think about this scenario. Since you mentioned that this was an investigation meant for your eyes only, it has been kept that way and I've not approached anyone else about the current mission. Dieter Jung, my MND supervisor has been kept in the dark as well but is aware that I'm under BDM assignment. He is still keeping taps on my health however, something that has been faltering here and there due to certain encounters with Noah Xonnel. However it can't be compared with what you're going through yourself.
