Greetings. We are the Presidium, the honorary ruling body of the Slaver’s Union. One of our operatives, Captain Harvey Crippen of the Ourang Medan, has returned with positive words about your organization after encountering one of your Captains, LH~Maximillian.Largo. In turn, we are reaching out to you with a proposal.
As I’m sure you know, we trade primarily in workers, and return with Cardamine bound for Liberty space. We occasionally deal in other forms of contraband, such as munitions and counterfeit software. We routinely travel extensively in far systems, such as the Border and Edge worlds, and we gather many valuable pieces of information that we're willing to put on the table.
We are seeking out a potential alliance, and at the very least, a positive business relationship. In exchange for escorting or scouting for our ships while in Liberty systems, we would be more than willing to trade in Cardamine, workers, information, or any other contraband that you may require. We would also pay a generous compensation to the pilots of the escort ships. As we journey into deeper portions of space, we can be useful eyes and ears for the Hackers. We had previously made a similar proposal to the Liberty Rogues, in regards to trade and payment, and had already begun communications with the Crimson Cross for the same.
We believe this would be both a positive and fruitful business relationship, if not the building blocks of a potential alliance. We eagerly await your response.

You can imagine the surprise of the Presidium reading the content of your communication. Mr. James Woods, our co-founder, won’t ever leave a meeting with the honorable Lane Hackers without any feedback. The captain of The Octavius faked his real identity, we don’t know why yet, but be sure his actions are considered as betrayal towards the Union and its valued partners. His ship and assets have already been requisitioned and he is currently waiting in a slave cell to be interrogated and sent to the fields with the next shipment. Let’s talk business. Some of the plantations and factories we usually supply with workforce in Malta require your Counterfeit Software. Indeed, it becomes tricky for them to track and manage all the workers we provide and the amount of Cardamine we export.
