Greetings Zoners,

As we both know the attitudes you have towards my organization vary between individuals and groups. Whilst some can be considered cordial, in other areas there's animosity.

I am sending this transmission as I have realised your situation within the Edge Worlds, specifically Omicron Delta. We had noticed for years how the Corsairs had been so casually abusing the Zoner population, so we muscled in to deal with the problem. After the capture of Yaren, we thought we had finally succeeded and we'd be able to address your sovereignty and focus our attention to protecting you from the Nomad threat. Unfortunately and unsurprisingly, The Order had to stick their noses in and get in the way of that.

Although the period of bloodshed has lengthened due to their meddling and will most likely continue to lengthen until we push them out, we still want to keep to our original objective of establishing peace and happiness in the Edge Worlds. The nature of Zoners is to establish new lives in far off space away from the chaos of the Houses, yet ironically you have wound up in the thick of conflict. With The Order homing in on Omicron Delta, no doubt they have already begun to abuse the Zoners just like the Corsairs did. I do not know how long it will be until the Order destroys Freeport 11 under a half-backed excuse - such as there being an infected presence within the station - as justification to push it out of their way. But at least having a fall-back plan in the event that happens will be a good measure.

I want to help ease this and reduce the loss of Zoner lives as much as possible. It is my commitment, no, it is my calling. Most likely you know of the abandoned depot within Omicron Lost. Working alongside the Zoners, The Core would be willing to help re-build that depot into a Zoner outpost, away from the conflict and danger of Omicron Delta. We do not want to gain anything else out of it other than gratitude and perhaps different degrees of support towards securing Omicron Delta from The Order and the Nomads. I would offer allowing Zoners presence on Nauru, but as we lack a docking ring we cannot ensure a 100% safe method for getting you onto the Planet.

My pilots have also informed me of how an Order battle-group intruded into Omicron-74 recently. Although my pilots were trying to do their jobs and protect the Zoners of the system, the Order selfishly attacked them, blockading their attempts to help. If it is any consolation, in future I will allocate my pilots to protecting the sovereignty and security of 74. You are denizens of the Edge Worlds, and thus have every right and reason to be protected and respected.

I am also sure that Zoners of a scientific and technical nature may be interested in assistance from my organization. We can gather you materials, as well as help you with your research.

It is likely that some of you would like to bring up the topic of how my pilots treat the laws of your installations. To put your mind at ease, I have already begun negotiations with the Administrator of Freeport 11.

Not only will we make the Omicrons peaceful and free of evil, but we will improve your lives. Gloria aeterna.

Hello,

I am Nicole Malakai, one of the security pilots on Freeport-11. Your transmission couldn't have better timing, I was about to poke you and your pilots.

You are speaking about the period of bloodshed between The Order and The Core, but let me ask a question. Do you really think it's fault of The Order? Few years ago, before The Core was found, created or arrived to Omicrons, we lived in peace, threatened only by the Nomads. Can you somehow prove us it's not your fault?

About Omicron Lost, this skeleton of space station used to be a property of some faction, are you sure they aren't going to mind it?

And about your pilots and Zoner Laws... 2 days ago one of your pilots violated our laws and engaged two ships in NFZ. He continued, even if we warned him, so you kind of lost one of your ships. I didn't have to shoot Corsairs, The Order and you would be surprised, but even Outcasts are following our laws. However The Core violated laws numerous times, engaging ships in NFZ or bringing capital ships to Freeport, where they remained for a while - minutes. And when asked to leave NFZ, attitude of your pilots was similar to "And what are you going to do about it?" Are you losing control of your pilots? Or you just aren't aware of it?

However this is just my opinion, Coremaster. No offense. However I'll leave this for our Confederation.

~Nicole

I do hope you're joking..

We've had a few conversations regarding the Core around the Freeport in Omicron Delta before, as well as your current attitude that you have with the current Zoners.

I'm going to be rather blunt with you right now. Stop being so full of yourselves. Who are you to decide who is a problem to the Zoners are in the Omicrons? Don't treat us like people who are unable to think for ourselves. We have a large amount of intellectuals within our own community, by no means are we stupid.

I speak for the very large majority of the people who visit the Freeport when we say that there are no problems with the Order. If we need help, we will ask for it. Be that around the Freeport, or in the space around us. If you'd like to have war with them, by all means. Do not let us get in your way, you have that right.

We thank you for your promises of keeping us safe, I'm sure if you legitimately do as you claim, there will be many of our community who will support you. Perhaps even myself. Though do not find justification of battle through our conditions. Besides maybe the natives of the Omicrons, the Nomads. That's a common enemy we all share.

The Order as it is, have shown themselves to be rather reasonable. Willing to follow the rules of the Freeports. There have been times where even they have gone against our rules, true. Though the Core is much more guilty than the Order are. The Order has also worked very closely with some of the other Zoner groups. While I can not speak on their behalf, I would imagine that there are no problems regarding their organization with those apart from the Freeport as well.
. Don't work the system and use us for justifications of 'defense' when there has been no need against the groups which you've mentioned.

We can discuss your conduct around the Freeport through another channel.

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, I'm sure we would be delighted in arranging some business with the Core provided you respect our wishes.

Thank you for your responses,

Nicole Malakai,

You seem to forget about the Corsairs that were here before we were. The Omicrons - no - the Edge Worlds are an endless cycle of bloodshed. We seek to put a change to that. Politics aside, it is undeniable that the conflict will only extend each time a new party gets involved. We had hoped to break the cycle, but that did not happen. My proof that the conflict is not our fault is that we merely wage a defensive war with The Order. We came to the Edge Worlds seeking to bring peace and discover new technologies. The Order would not allow us to do that, and attacked us. Much like they do to any Zoner that simply wishes to follow the pursuits of science.

We know that the abandoned outpost was once the property of a faction. We also know who that specific faction is. I doubt they will mind of we make advantage of it for the betterment of the Zoners. If they were to 'return' for whatever reason, I am sure we could reach an agreement with them.

James Harper,

When we see bloodshed we are forced to decide what a problem is for the Zoners. We cannot stand idly by whilst there is a threat to your safety. We know you can think for yourselves, but we will be judicators and protect you when you are under threat for another party. We are extending the olive branch here and asking for little in return.

You speak of The Order so kindly, yet do you recall when they ruthlessly attacked the Temporary Autonomous Zoners? We have been helping them cope with The Order's hostility against them, and they have been greatly affected by that. The following ban applied on them to all Zoner bases was a fitting punishment, yet the CoF was gullible enough to grant them docking permissions once again. I do not blame you however, as I can only imagine you were threatened. I would not trust them for long if I were you.

We entirely look towards respecting your wishes. As I have said, your sovreignty is very important to us. Like us, you are a people of the Edge Worlds. If you wish to arrange business or talk more, then yes, send us a transmission via another channel if you can.

ZCS-Kapisi,

Your support is appreciated. We will do our best to ensure your safety. And if our offer gains more traction, we will be more than happy to have you on board to help us bring it to fruitition.

Hello Mr. Nodtviet,

my name is Dr. Wes Valdon. I am an archaeologist of the Outer Rim University.
An interesting suggestion you have there, it serves mostly my experiences with your ranks. Either you are a nice guy, without having the ability to proper analyzing his environment or you only pretend to be a nice guy, with analyzing his environment quite well. Anyway, both options wouldn't be a surprise. As the first option isn't mentionable at all, the second option is.
Minding the rumors about the system? If I take your strong expressive words serious, you suggest a relocation of the Freeport to a system that already contains the first destructive sign of a failed settlement with a high scale of alien activity there.
Is this relocation meant to be a passive holocaust on civilians? Does the Zoner neutrality in Omicron Delta just disturb your sovereign ambitions? What is it?
Don't get me wrong, my encounters with your group haven't been illuminated from a strong intellect of your people. I don't like to lay words into your mouth or failing of a false interpretation, rather prefer receiving a serious move of explanation.

Respectfully

Dr. Wes Valdon,

The installation was not destroyed by hostile elements. Rather, the Crayterians had destroyed it themselves before they left. The Nomad activity in the system is not high enough to present a risk to your security - otherwise we would not be making this transmission, would we?

A 'passive holocaust'? What an absurd denomination. The Zoner neutrality in Delta does not disturb us, however I am disturbed at the way you have used to word holocaust. Why would my organization ever consider such? We seek to protect Zoners. Not remove them in any way, shape or form. And that is why we simply seek to extend the number of Freeports that exist.
