GPU problem - BlackWolf - 03-26-2016

Hello guys!

So, my laptop plays disco with the integrated GPU. But it's lagging, so I want to change it to the high performance GPU. When I want to choose the NVIDIA GTX 950m, it says: "You're not able to choose the GPU in this menu. U have to change it in the NVIDIA control panel bla bla...."
I tried to do that, but it still starts with the integrated one, but it shows the high performance one in the options. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

You gotta disable your integrated GPU in MB bios

Disregard the post above, you need your integrated gpu for desktop apps.

You must manually select FL to run with the High Performance GPU in the Nvidia Control pannel.
If that doesn't work, select it as a Global option, though that is not recommended as there are apps that do not benefit from it.

If this does not work, you might need to double check if the gpu is even enabled in the laptops BIOS.

GPU works fine with GTA 5 or something so, i think it's enabled. I turned NVidia on for Freelancer in the control planel and Disco to. It still starts with integrated one and how I said, the NVidia says "You are not able..." ....so it means I need more rights

Double check you have selected the correct freelancer exe, it may default-detect the original one.
As for the error message, can you give a screenshot? I do not recall seeing a "you are not able..'' one before.
