To: The [M]ollys - Task Force Prometheus - 04-02-2016 ![]() INCOMING TRANSMISSION Sender:______Alan Stacker Source:______The Sovereign, Cayman Encryption:__Very High Priority:____Very High Subject: History _ _ I'm surprised this transponder is still functioning, Though I don't doubt it's being monitored for activity. Hello, I'm Alan Stacker, former Fleet Captain of Task Force Gladius, one of the... Last surviving pilots who served under Noble. I'm certain I am the last, in fact. I managed the logistics for the Task force, supplies, refueling, funding... I also managed the collection for Operation: Olive branch, which is what my current boss told me is the subject. I'm sorry, but I don't really know much about it, beyond what I took when I left the Sierra Facility, which is gone now. However, here's what I can provide. A testimony of a living Gladius pilot, as well as the initial communication logs for the beginning of the operation. Now... Gladius had effectively split in to its own command structure, following what was known as the schism, where we were left in a weakened state, leaving the two task forces, Warhammer and Gladius, on their own. Gladius had become more... Radical, is an appropriate term. Following our founding, Noble had reached out to the Mollys with a gift, from the PEOC production facility. However, before further cooperation could've been established, PEOC, or Point Exodus Orbital Colony, was destroyed by Fleet Commander Harland Voss. It seems, from the logs, he had underhandedly informed you of the change in leadership. Point Exodus was designed by Sterling Metford and Desmond Noble. The idea behind it, was to appear as a safe haven for war refugees, promising food, water, full housing, and security from the Royalist threat. The true purpose of the facility was much more sinister than it was advertised. The facility was divided in to four sections. Intake, residential, security, and research. Access to the last two were restricted, even for low-level pilots within Gladius. Refugees were brought in, despite disapproval from Bretonia. We had faked the destruction of the evacuation transports, to appear as though they were lost to the Royalists. Vanishing completely off the radar, using the same gift we had given to you, years ago. I was unaware of what awaited the people I brought to PEOC. They were filtered, sectioned in residential by age, gender, and health. At night, some refugees were selected randomly, and brought in to security for 'questioning'. They bypassed security to sector four, the research wing. They'd be filtered in to open chambers, one way windows looking in. They'd be asked questions, as to how they were feeling, if they were tired, sick, hungry, and GOD would write down the answers. From there, the chemical team would insert red vials in to the vents, dubbed HLX-7, a neuro-toxin that overpowers the nervous system and induces cardiac arrest, effectively killing someone in a very painful manner. The contents were some fungus that GOD had recovered, though their files were kept at the Delta Facility, which was destroyed shortly after PEOC. Their intention, as I had learned, was to use the toxin in localized area to induce fear within the general populace, causing them to question their government. A stupid plan, if you ask me. Of course, like most things, there are people on the inside who disagree. Harland was one such person. He lead a small attack against PEOC, freeing the people there, planting explosives, and executing Fleet Admiral Noble. Once he had vacated the station, he had enacted his plan to downplay the facility being destroyed. From there, the remnants had holed up in Inverness, at the Sierra Bunker, which is where I was, prior to leaving. The mental stress alone, knowing what I've done... I still can't forgive myself. Gladius did a lot of bad things, but there were good people at the Sierra base when it was bombarded. Friends, whom I had known for years, most didn't know what had happened... I seek penitence for my mistakes, and that is what I have found on this path. Perhaps now, you understand. I still don't know why I was asked to relive history again. I might never know, I might never forgive myself, but I have a duty to uphold. Further responses to this channel will be made with my new transponder. -Stacker TRANSMISSION TERMINATED
