.ale Projectile effect - Operator - 04-04-2016

So

I want to do some magic with zappers and I need to create an .ale beam projectile and flash particle effects. How can I do this and which tools I need for it?
Way too lazy to read Treewyrm's guide

Don't be a dick. Resources for ALE composition is scarce.

Anyway. The tools you only need are:

Freelancer XML Project
Notepad++

And even if you don't want to read Yuri's guide, too bad, you should. It's the only comprehensive guide out there. It'll take time to learn, like anything else.

Remember to always have a backup of the original file if you're basing it off anything. And always backup your work too.

I'd read his guide, but unfortunately, it contains a tutorial of creating an engine effects only, maybe I've missed something. However, thanks, @"Nyx".
