I'm Sonja Narcano of the Bund Freiheitlicher Landwirte and I'm contacting you as I hope that we can discuss a few things together.
I'll start with the first topic right away to see where this leads us.

We are a group of former LWB members as well as farmers and landlords from all over Rheinland.
I know that you know the LWB as terrorists and your enemies, but as we are not them we might find another way to handle things between us.
The BFL is trying to sell the products their members produce and our quality is very high. In fact it is much higher than imported goods from other Houses as we don't even produce a standard level.

Your company is known to do anything your passengers wish, as far as I know. Providing great food is needed to satisfy customers as I believe. Am I right?
We would like to supply you with Rheinland produced high quality food and drinks, as we are trying to reduced the import of such products very strict. Our farmers are able to deliver a wide range of products.

I hope this suggestion is something you think about and if you want to test some of our products I'd like you to send a file with the things you need or maybe want to buy.

I am thoroughly surprised to receive your message and even more so by its contents. If I understand correctly your group is a former faction of the LWB movement, a movement I might add which has been responsible for over two dozen assassination attempts upon planet Baden Baden, and you wish to discuss what would amount to a trade deal? To say I am skeptical would be an understatement.

I can appreciate your desire to move away from such barbaric methods and seek to fulfil your goals by other more peaceable means, in that we can sympathize, however the actions of your former group cannot be simply forgotten or swept aside.
To be clear, Orbital Spa and Cruise does not see the LWB as enemies but as aggressors, brutes who use our resort not as a place of enjoyment or relaxation but as a hunting ground, a killing field where they can seek out those they view as responsible for Stuttgart's condition and remove them.

Still, I cannot let such an opportunity be ignored, if even a slightest chance exists that we may find a way to stop or at the very least lessen the prospect of violence, I would be a fool and unworthy of my position not to grasp it.

I will hear what you have to say if you will answer a few questions of my own.

How does your group differ from the LWB? And have you, or any of your group attacked or taken part of in an attack against OS&C personel or guests?

What do you have to offer in trade and what would you request in turn?

I was expecting such an answer due to the fact what the LWB has done or is still doing. If you read the information about the BFL you might be thinking that we are even more aggressive, but we are not. I also know that my message is surprising and if you want to have a more detailed information about the Bund Freiheitlicher Landwirte I will answer all your questions.
We are working for the inhabitants of Rheinland and we are trying to increase the quality. Therefore all our farmers are having Rheinland workers who are doing a great job by producing excellent products. Under no circumstance you will find slaves on our farms as we are also fighting the Slaver's Union on sight - maybe you already read about this.

Of course I know about the LWB and we could also have joined or kept staying with them, but we don't agree with them that's why we do many things completely different. I personally can assure you that no one of your members has ever raised his hand against anyone of the OS&C. We don't have assassins in our rows and I personally would ban them from our organization.

We also don't have any kind of contact or connection to the LWB. I'm also about to inform all your members that they are not allowed to attack you under any circumstances.

We can delivery Rheinbeer, Luxury Food produced in Rheinland, fresh Water and many other things.
What we want in return? That's a good question and I already know something, but that can't be said by now. Credits as payment for the goods is enough for now I'd say.
Before I ask of anything I want to have further contact with you as there is no need to hurry.

I apologise for the delay in response, the completion of our cruise took slightly longer than usual.

Your stance on slavery is commendable, as is your promise of non-aggression towards OS&C one we will enact in kind. My security staff will not fire upon any vessel bearing the callsign BFL, they will remain on alert as a precaution. This is an act of good faith as I believe you and your group are sincere in their goals, only time shall tell.

The items you offer are indeed useful and the prospect of high quality is reassuring but this brings us to far more serious issues, far more than a checkered past. I speak of the Rheinland government.
As a multi-national company we are bound to the laws and whims of any nation that houses our assets, through skillful negotiation and trust we have earned the privilage to operate within all of the Houses with the exception of Gallia, allowing us to cross borders freely even during times of conflict. It is a perilous position to maintain and every deal we make must be weighed carefully against the knifes edge, the loss of favour with a single government would spell disaster for our company and all those whom we employ.

Your group, though different in method, share the same goal and reputation of the LWB which tars you with the same brush, as terrorists. Should any future deal take place, we would instantly be labelled as a supporter of terrorist acts, our name tarnished and our Rheinland assets ceased. An undesirable outcome to say the least and one that weighs heavily against you.

This leads me to wonder, just how far you are willing to separate from the LWB to attain your goals?

Don't worry its no problem there is no need to hurry.

This is a good sign and also a step in the right direction, fighting each other would definitely be the wrong way to go. Staying alert is a standard protocol for most people and sometimes also needed when flying in space.

I understand you concern and what could happen if something goes wrong. I am also on contact with the RFP, RM and BDM and if you would be willing to buy some of our products I would ask them if delivering products to OS&C would make any problems for your company. Any kind of problems should be avoided of course. If needed and wanted I would also contact other houses to ensure everything would work just fine.

We share some goals, but not all of them and definitely not their methods and actions to accomplish them. We are completely separated from the LWB and after our split-up we haven't had any kind of contact with them. We are also trying to fund our goals by selling our goods and not by pirating people. Some pilots I encountered even gave me credits for 'nothing' as they wanted to support our goals by helping us with a bit of cash.

I hope that we find a way to work things out as time goes by.

Your contact with the Rheinland police and military is highly reassuring as is your severence from the LWB, if your request is granted by the authorities it would allow us to freely negotiate a trade deal that would be mutually beneficial without the political minefield. Naturally, any confirmation in that regard would be most welcome, if it would ease matters you may use myself as a point of reference.

Should all the pieces fall into place and a trade deal becomes viable, may I ask how far your group would be willing to travel? Our assets range from the Hawaii in Sigma 19, the Shetland in Newcastle and as far as the Mackinac in Nagano, if you could supply a rough distance it would speed the process considerably.

I'm also curious what will happen next, but I can't be too confident of course as this could also turn out bad for the BFL.
By now we can hope as this would be a huge step forward for us as it would allow us to deliver many goods to all kind of factions in Rheinland and its surroundings. However we won't be supporting some factions with food, a file containing those groups can be sent if wanted.

Well of course planet Baden-Baden and Sigma-19 won't be a problem to deliver to, but for Newcastle and Nagano I would have to contact the Bretonian and Kusari goverment first to ensure everything works out fine for the both of us.

I also thank you for allowing me to use your good and respected name when the next contact with Rheinland lawfuls is made.

You are quite welcome, hopefully the Rheinland government will see your request as an opportunity for change and act accordingly. As for whom you deliver to, well its not our business and is probably better for both our groups that we don't know, our concern extends to the legality of the trade and no further. On the subject of trade, I believe the Hawaii may be the more lucrative destination should all go ahead as planned, the resorts on Baden Baden may not be overly welcoming at this early stage.

I want to inform you that the Federal Police wasn't so happy about the way we handle things. Therefore we changed some of our rules and a few other things - you can find everything on our main page as already known.

We are working on us and everything to find a solution the Police and Military can agree to.

The conversation with RFP got to an dead end. We simply can't do what would be needed. There is still one point open as I asked if it would cause any trouble if someone who is already buying or products would deliver them to your bases. The BFL is still hoping that this will be granted by Rheinlands Police.

This would still be great if it works without any problems. I also like to keep our no-attack agreement by now in case you still want it.
