The Corsair Trade Company
- crescit cum commercio civitas - While being one of the highest ranking Brotherhood Generals, Elder Alberto Rodriguez decided he can do more for the Corsair Empire than just sit in a flagship all day and watch his brothers and sisters work like slaves while the high ranking officers enjoy the finer things in life. At the same time, his fellow Elder and notorious pirate Vittorio “Vito” Sanchez was starting to feel out of place within the ranks of the Brotherhood, who he had only joined a couple of weeks before. He was a pirate, he has always been a pirate and his new life was giving him no satisfaction whatsoever. When they were sharing a case of rum they started to share their frustrations about the state of the Empire. It wasn’t long before they realized they share each other's vision and decided they can and should make a change. The next morning they both left the Brotherhood and the Corsair Trade Company was born. For the Corsair Empire and its allies, CTC will become the main supplier of goods and the main exporter of artifacts. CTC will constantly work for the wellbeing of the corsair people and the prosperity of the Empire For everyone else, CTC will become force to be reckon with. A trader’s worst nightmare, CTC will constantly raid trade convoys but they will not back down from engaging military target, should the need arise. Leader: Vito 2IC: Jide 500 million credits on Treasury|CTC Goals: Providing the needed commodities (food, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, etc) to ensure the wellbeing of every citizen of the Corsair Empire thru any means necessary, including trading, piracy, smuggling, raiding, etc
Providing logistic and technical support to the Corsair Empire and its allies Promoting the artifact trade in and beyond Sirius Finding new sources of revenue for the Corsair Empire by negotiating new trade deals Ensuring the corsair supremacy within the Corsair Empire and securing and expanding its borders Enforcing the Corsair Laws Naming convention and faction alignment: Corsair ID, Corsair IFF (we reserve the right to ask for our own ID in the future - at the moment of writing this request the ID system is being overhauled)
Tag: |CTC Only one character per member allowed (which can have multiple ships, of course) Naming convention: - for snubs: Firstname.Lastname|CTC ; Callsign|CTC & Shipname|CTC - restricted for special cases and/or shared ships - for freighters/transports: Shipname|CTC The names should be inspired by the corsair culture; it's highly recommended to consult with a HC member before choosing your or your ships’ name. ZOI:

Senior members Members Recruits Current roster: HC members:
Vito Jide Senior Members: Jorge Zapatero DragonLancer Agetneor Eikorr Bablo Members: Dworkin Recruits: Alessandro Farnese Other information: Do not get fooled by the name, the CTC will be a pirating/smuggling faction that wants to to back to the old-school corsair ways. We are men of honor. We live with it, we fight with it. We retreat with it. We no not like Freeports. This does not mean we do not like zoners, it only means we do not like Freeports. CTC members will not use Freeports for resupplying ships or for taking cover. Unless ordered to do so by a superior, CTC fighting ships will not land on any Freeport in Sirius. Transport ships are not covered by this rule, but their escorts are. The CTC is NOT a PvP faction. We are pirates, but not '2milordai' types. We roleplay our pirating. If you want to get in because of the PvP, you will be soon kicked out unless you change your mind-set. Of course you will pvp if needed, but don't take the fun out of the game for other people. Blue texts are welcome as a last resort but the credits or cargo should be the main goal (unless on a mission/raid, of course). A usual request is dropping around 1/3 of his cargo, if you have a transport close that is able to carry it around or credits. The requested amount will take the traders' cargo, level and behavior into consideration. RE: The Corsair Trade Company - nOmnomnOm - 04-12-2016 Come to think of it.... It has been a really long time since corsairs have been THIS active! Keep doing your thing. Perhaps the next step after would be organizing raids to outcasts or Hessians? Just like in the old days <3 |
