IFF fixing - Zork - 11-18-2008 hi, i've the following problem... im in a very heavy fighter with a military ID i started with a liberty police IFF (surprise surprise) i try to fix it... i reaping around sirius and destroy a lot of ships kishiro bowex Dauman kusari police ALG and so on everytime then i got a new ally it was a civilan fraction... but my ship is armed with rheinland weaps and cruising around rheinland space so i need a rheinland military IFF my last ally on my list was interspace commence so i gone to manhatten and waited near newark station but no ship was coming so i start to fire on the station... it turned to red but nothing other where i can find interspace ships... since tree days i wait on this station, but none i coming home IFF fixing - jshkornmiller - 11-18-2008 uj, take missions for the faction you're trying to drop. It'll be a lot safer and cleaner then just killing everything IFF fixing - Grumblesaur - 11-18-2008 Liquidate character. Sell everything. Buy a LF, transfer all cash. Delete character, make a new one, get to ship selling location, buy ID, Ship, and other. Done. IFF fixing - Zork - 11-18-2008 i tryed it with missions... im max green with em... and becasuse making a new char... i will be easier to ask the admins for fixing the IFF or reaping around and kill 2 or 3 interspace ships IFF fixing - AdamantineFist - 11-18-2008 ' Wrote:i tryed it with missions... im max green with em...I don't think there are any IC ships anywhere. At all. Only option I see is docking on Bonn or Newark and dropping missions. That or blowing up any IC storage depots you come across. IFF fixing - Ark - 11-18-2008 If you take missions specifically from IC, fly out to the mission area, and then turn tail and run all the way back to station, your rep will drop (because you failed the mission.) As far as finding their ships... I *think* I have seen them in passing. I may be thinking of gateway or ALG, but I find a lot of trains and armored transports near jumpgates. You could try hanging around those. It may be easier to start over with a new character. IFF fixing - Klaw117 - 11-18-2008 Reading this also helps: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8910 IFF fixing - swift - 11-18-2008 Just get the missions and drop them. You don't even need to go into space for that. Just hang in the bar and keep taking and dropping them, all without undocking. I tried it and it works. IFF fixing - Zork - 11-18-2008 thanks at ark and klaw117... now i will take missions and fail em... IFF fixing - Ark - 11-18-2008 Dropping missions from your map only causes a slight rep loss. Going to the mission site and then running will drop a whole block. I personally drop every available mission but one, then go out and fail the last one. Return and repeat. I haven't timed either method so I couldn't tell you what's faster. Also try to take missions nearby (you're usually told the coordinate or at least the cloud where it will be.) |
