Commissariat Missive - Commissar Petrov, Commissar Tabakov [Encrypted Level 5] - Jazzi - 04-23-2016 ![]() Vitayu Commissar Comrades, It is unusual for us to communicate on such matters via transmission, however there is an issue of great importance to me that I feel is worth the risk. The Proposed Alliance with the Blood Dragons of Kusari is a military triumph and surely bolsters the revolutions cause in the Northern regions of Sirius. However, there is a hidden threat to the values of the Coalition's people that requires attention which, as People's Commissar it is my duty to our Coalition to highlight. Section i - item ii: The alliance treaty permits Kusarian vessels and their crew into New Moscow, and permits to dock on Zvezdny, Zhukovsky and Sevastopool. From a military points of view, I understand the logic behind this offer. However, I hope you would indulge me in considering the impact this could have on our people. Kusarian culture, mannerisms, ideas and concepts are vastly different to that of a habitant of New Moscow - a difference that may risk de-stabilising the bonds that tie us together as Comrades. More specifically, Blood Dragon culture is even more extreme. Section ii: The same concerns outlined above apply for this section. Threats to one's societal fabric are not transmitted just in words, but also in objects. Trade brings in foreign objects into the resource allocations available to the Coalition's citizens. There are no outlined restrictions or regulations on procedure for these incoming goods - which poses the same issues as above. Section vi. - "Open Trade": Encompasses the same concerns as above, yet entails some questions concerning the long-term longevity of this treaty and it's impact on the values and principles of our People. Let us come together to discuss these concerns - as I strongly hold these are real concerns for the longevity of the Coalition. If an amendment is not available, then empower me with a mandate to ensure the impact of these topics are mitigated and the structure of the lives of our People is not placed in peril.
