Signal strength: Strong Signal origin: -{REDACTED}- Subject: Hostilities against Freeport Defense vessels (FDV) Opening message.... Hey there whoever is in charge,
I was curious as to what moved your pilot Miri Keating to shoot upon my ship, despite no FDV shooting upon an Auxesian ship, and just the Core assaulters. Specific instructions were given to only shoot on Core ships if they engaged Zoner ships, and to leave the Auxesian ships alone. My osprey was destroyed by your pilot, and i was transferred to safer base by a as of yet unknown rescuer, may whoever that is be thanked. I wonder about your side of the story as what motivated you to shoot on us, because as far as i know, you had no hostile intentions towards the Zoners, and your fleet pulled out when the Core started bombarding the Freeport. Kind regards, Jane Shepard Attachments: None RE: To: Battlegroup Auxesia - Aether - 05-02-2016 Subject: An explanation of the days events Jane Shepard, I recall you from Delta, as well as Zeta. I am the Curator of Battlegroup Auxesia, and I know exactly what this is pertaining to. Guardian Keating, after witnessing the Zoner Colony ship combine it's fire with the Order vessels to attack the Cincinnati, and later witnessing the gunboat vessel which was sitting near the Freeport in your company open fire on the Cincinnati as well, had acted on the assumption that you were accompanying these warmongering Zoners into battle, thus opened fire. As I had informed the Confederation of Freeports, our intention in this situation was purely oriented to hostile behavior originating from the Order, and as battle had begun outside of the Freeport No-Fire Zone, the Zoner Colony ship was locked in the midst of it, firing every weapon it had available upon the Cincinnati. This prompted a swift response from the Collapser Batteries, and the Colony ship was destroyed. Unfortunate, yet unavoidable, as he had sided with the aggressive self-proclaimed vanguards of humanity. I am no fan of the Core, and neither is any pilot within Auxesia, yet alone we wouldn't have survived against the Order's Battle fleet, which was dispatched in response to an attempt by us to make contact and rectify a previous situation involving a disruptive and invasive Osiris vessel. They offered us monetary compensation to partake in combating Order forces, and due to our independence, we acted accordingly. Upon wiping the remaining Order vessels from the area, the Core forces proceeded to fire upon a Zoner Carrier. At this point, Auxesia had withdrawn from combat, and did not partake in any actions to assault the Freeport. A Blood Dragon Capital vessel later appeared, and as I have learned, fired upon Guardian Keating without prompt or reason. The Togo-Class vessel was eradicated by the Core in a matter of seconds. This, as you can obviously see from the previous line, is a rather odd situation for us, and we've ended up in the middle of the backlash for the Core's totalitarian actions once more. Rest assured, that we've engaged the Core previously, and likely will in the future, as no matter what, our two groups will never see eye to eye beyond our distaste for the aggressive and hostile actions made by the Order. Signal strength: Strong Signal origin: -{REDACTED}- Subject: Hostilities against Freeport Defense vessels (FDV) Opening message.... Hey there Curator,
Thank you for the swift reply. Seeing your reasoning I understand why you engaged my ship. That Colony ship violated direct orders, and we assumed that ships just opened fire on the Zoners because we were present. We didnt know that the Colony ship actually entered combat on its own initiative. I am sorry for any damaged he may have caused to your organization and its reputation. I do not know how bad the fallout of this incident is for your organization, but I hope its not too much. Kind regards, Jane Shepard Attachments: None |
