Hello Natalie, it's been a while.
I've got a piece of paper on my desk from one of our Field Agents, Sonja Kerensky, advising me that she met you in space earlier. A Freelancer for hire now, in love with all that glitters except gold it seems.
And I hear you've got children now. Congratulations.
But you know why I'm contacting you. Seems you're willing to give Liberty a shot again, and this time without the restrictions placed upon you by the Navy. If this was any factor at all in why you left then believe me, I know how you feel. When it comes to mental illness I have less empathy, but you've got children and I don't so which one of us is more ill?
Agency 404 is looking for ex-military personnel, preferably but not exclusively from the ranks of Liberty's own. People who can fight in more ways than shooting, who can play the long game and can stay in control. I hear that you've accomplished the latter since your kids came into your life. I also hear that you still enjoy an occasional round of torture. That's good. I like that a lot.
If you've got a price, name it and I'll tell you if the Agency can provide it for you. Credits, immunity for yourself or somebody else, lodging, anonymity, whatever. I can't give you as much as I might have been able to in the past because I can't lean on David Hale now, but Alan Jones might as well do. He's grown in to the big chair quite well, over at Primary Fleet Headquarters.
You don't need to sign now, or at all, of course. If you have questions about what the Agency's goals are specifically, or anything else for that matter, I'll do my best to answer.
Hopefully we'll get to fly together again, just like old times.
