PUBLIC FLASH: Gas Miners Guild Declaration - Gas Miners Guild - 05-14-2016

To all inhabitants of the Sirius Sector,
A great deal of unexpected space weather has been occuring in the Sigma systems as of late, irrevocably changing the local landscape. A handful of existing system connections have naturally closed, however, a great deal of new connections have emerged in the aftermath of what was essentially a recent ion storm.
As a result, The Guild is proud to publicly announce the existence of the Sigma-15 and Sigma-21 systems to the rest of Sirius, friend, foe or otherwise. The nature of these systems as Sigmas also means that GMG officially lays claim them and everything within them as its sovereign space and property, and Guild laws and regulations will apply from the time of this broadcast.
As a result, The Guild is proud to publicly announce the existence of the Sigma-15 and Sigma-21 systems to the rest of Sirius, friend, foe or otherwise. This is communiqué of the Rheinland Government:
The Rheinland government would like to remind the Gas Miners Guild that the space system system referred to as Sigma-15 is considered already as a territory of the Bundesrepublik Rheinland. Thus GMG claim can not be recognized and Rheinland law enforcement authorities will continue to treat it as part of Rheinland space which is governed only and exclusively by Rheinland laws. Any attempt to enforce any other laws will be considered as illegal and treated accordingly.
The Rheinland government is displeased by the attempt of the Gas Miners Guild to claim this system and advise to nullify the published declaration and also to stop raising diplomatic tensions.

In the wake of several recent Jump Hole discoveries, The Core would like to make a statement.
In order to protect Omicron Rho, The Core fully plans to expand into the Sigma-15 region. The Core acknowledges and accepts the presence of Rheinland assets within the region, and The Core will do it's hardest to protect Rheinland's interests and its peoples that may operate within Sigma-15. But The Core is looking to add the non-Rheinland territories of Sigma-15 into Omicronis, so that we may have a secure border between Rho and the territories of the Gas Miners Guild and Rheinland.
In cooperation with the Bounty Hunters Guild, The Core has also recently built an installation within the Sigma-59 system named Nobeoka Platform. The Core acknowledges the Gas Miners Guild's claim to the system, and is wholeheartedly looking forward to cooperation with the Gas Miners Guild against scum such as the Outcasts and the Corsairs. Furthermore we do not have any intention to induct the system into Omicronis. However The Core will be enforcing its law within 20 kilometres of Nobeoka Platform in order to protect our own and the BHG's asset.
Finally, The Core at this time is not releasing a definite statement regarding Sigma-21. Our pilots have reported alien activity within the system, and thus The Core feels that it's presence within that system must be greatly reinforced. We will happily cooperate with local factions to ensure the peace of the system, however at this time we do not recognise any sovereignty within Sigma-21.
In conclusion our intentions are to ensure the peace and safety of each party operating within the region. We look forward to future cooperation with all of you. The Core is also excitedly awaiting statements from the Republic of Kusari and Samura Industries.

The Core has already been underway with discussion with the Rheinland Military regarding Sigma-15. The Core has been preparing and soon plans to finally construct an installation near the Omicron Rho hole known as Elysium Station. We have drawn up a diagram regarding the possible treatment of the territory.

The Golden Chrysanthemums are welcoming the expansion of the zone of interest by Gas Miners Guild. We know that Guild rule truly leads to security and prosperity of the Sigmas region. Centuries of development of the Sigmas by Guild only proves my words. As always Sisters will follow to the letter and spirit of the GMG Laws and Regulations document. Our Sisters will be informed about the recent changes shortly. We wish you every success in exploration and development of Sigma-15 and Sigma-21 systems.
