Welcome to the Ingenuus Research Group Faction Feedback and bump Thread

While the IRG have been around for quite some time, we are relatively new as an official faction, and as such would appreciate feedback/constructive criticism from the community, as well as reminders if we've missed any comms.

I've always liked the concept of Ingenuus. The heavy amounts of roleplay behind it, the amount of work put into the faction and just overall effort made by the members is great. I hope you guys keep up the direction you're headed, and I always look forward to interacting with you.

What is the status of members in IRG? Alive? Around? Doing other things?
Looking at the links you guys have of your threads, why has little or no progress been made in them while your faction is boasting to be a sciencey type?
I dont understand why it is so hard to just spend 15-30 mins or what not to write a simple reply at least. At least do the minimal so that others can pick it up.

Why am I complaining?
It is the Summer Break and I am not as busy. This month in particular is pretty free. PLEASE let me know if you are willing to continue and stop stalling. I'd rather look for someone else to take the place or do it myself than to have to wait THIS long and accept excuse after excuse.

And yes, I have been doing other things and speaking via skype to try to bump. Nothing helps.

A bit of patience wouldn't harm, would it? If worst comes to worst, you can poke Drrobe on Skype but like most people, I'd imagine he's busy.

I know I'm waiting for roleplay too but I like moving it at a comfortable pace than forcing someone to do it, which makes it rushed and probably makes others less interested. Just wait. Not everyone has free time.

Uhm, IRG is really active in the last weeks, both ingame as well as in the forum with lots of high-quality comms. Large comms. Not just 30-minute-comms. That adds up per day. Just give them a bit more time. I guess the other members are RL-busy as well.

RE: IRG| - Ingenuus Research Group Feedback Thread - Vendetta - 06-02-2016

You've got to remember that other people have lives, too. While you might not be busy, they might be. Rushing people doesn't really get you anywhere, and just kind of annoys the other party. I've had my RP with IRG on hold for months, and no one is complaining about it.

Give them some time.

RE: IRG| - Ingenuus Research Group Feedback Thread - The Archangels Fighter Club - 06-02-2016

2 months and 1 week has been plenty of time to wait for just 1 post of progress.
I have poked lots via oorp and rp. It doesnt work.

If other people have lives and dont want to do it, then they should just say they cannot. They should say something. Anything.

RE: IRG| - Ingenuus Research Group Feedback Thread - Arioch - 06-02-2016

@The Archangels Fighter Club - Valid points. I agree wholly. Currently though, we have 2 people who are active at this present moment, due to various members on vacations, school, and one of our members not having internet till the 8th. The 2 active people right this moment are me and @"Captain_Nemo". So responses are behind. Yes, typing up a quick post can be done, of which I try to do when I can. But as others have noted, I like to prepare my responses. On projects, I spend a good hour+ researching the topic so I can at least speak to some level of fact (It's sci fi, things are bent and made up I get that). That requires a lot of time and a delay in responding. But I'd rather have a good post that has some level of expertise in it, rather than go "You now have uber technology! Where? Who cares!". So I hope people realize that a delay is not lack of interest, it's that I want to spend some time prepping for it. Also, I have a life, I have a family, I have other interests. That adds up to.

In your case Nom, this has gone on too long. The reason was @"King Boo" was taking over that RP and was going to do it. Every time you messaged me on Skype, I in turn messaged him about the progress. He's been incredibly busy (Both with school and with the update), but I agree it's been way too long. Everytime I mentioned that I'd take over, he assured me that a post was written and saved as a draft, he's just been tweaking it, and he wants to do it. But if one isn't posted up within a week, I'll make some posts.

tl;dr - Please be patient, we're a little short staffed at the moment, but RP should never take 2 months+ to start. That's not how I want the IRG to be viewed, and I'll do my best to try to make sure we don't have those long delays again.

RE: IRG| - Ingenuus Research Group Feedback Thread - nOmnomnOm - 06-02-2016

Thanks for the post and i can understand if the members are away or busy. RL first after all.
If such is the case still after several days have passed and nothing can be done, it would be nice just to post the minimal amount just so that I can continue onward. Shouldn't take too long and I dont mind if it is not formatted the best it can be.
