Hello Jane.
It was a day just like any other on Freeport 10 until just 30 minutes ago at 10 past noon here in Tau 37 when a ship exploded in the hangar.
The explosion was large enough to take out the front of the very heavy fighter craft with it's engine as well as unfortunately the pilot inside in the cockpit.
The fire has been dying down now but the explosion's radius was enough to catch fire to another ship near-by. Luckily, emergency fire crew got in time after the airlocks had been opened to clear most of the smoke. No other casualties have been found.

Investigating Zoners on the scene have determined the likely cause of the explosion to be a detonator placed at the bottom of the craft. It was rigged to a device that when the craft started up it would then detonate the explosive along with it. Zoners have advised that the hangars on the Freeport be on lock-down until further notice until a bomb squad goes to check if any other ship crafts have been melded with the same way. So far non have been found.

Investigators have also determined from the wreak that the unfortunate pilot had been an Outcast pilot returning from a personal meeting. We are not sure of the details at this moment though investigators have found traces left of large packages of cardamine in the storage compartment of the craft that have now mostly been burnt up. Specialists suggest this might have been a drug deal operation in progress.

Administrators of the Freeport are looking to determine who were the people that had performed this terrorist act.
Unfortunately, no video footage has been found though control tower listings are looking at who had been coming and going out and in of the freeport around the time of the explosion.
Listing suggests several IMG transports, two Archangel fighters, a Junker, one Crayter Republic pilot, and some Freelancers.
While investigators have their own suspicions, no evidence has yet to be found.

This is Elizabeth Smith, Freeport 10.
Back to you, Jane.

Tonight in Liberty News:

We take a look at the releif push on Planet Huston after their devastating recent tornado.
We look at how some residences on Planet Manhattan have started to adopt Gaian Wildlife as pets.
And we look into if we should be worried about rumors of trace amounts of cardamine seeping into Planet Denver's water supply.

But first we go live down to Planet Manhattan as we visit probably one of the largest funerals taking place...(dramatic pause) in a while.

[Another reporter on the scene]

Good morning, Jane.

For the people here, however, it is a sad morning full of grief.
Three coffins have now arrived in at the cemetery down here on Church Street along with hundreds of Archangels members on motorcycles in honor of their fellow members who have passed away.
This isn't just any funeral either, as we can see members here from all three chapters present here.

Earlier this week not far from here in fact at a local bar these three now passed away racers were enjoying themselves when as if suddenly a fight had broken loose.
Witnesses at the scene had reported to the police the Angels being neutral and laughing until one different man came to them and started a conversation. After a few moments the man threw a punch down at the Angel and a fight broke out with more similar sinister men coming out of their shadow to fight. Luckily no one else was harmed as this seemed to be some sort of attack only on the Angels.

One of these men honored today as well as the one that had been approched first was, as the Archangels call him, Grandpa Joe.

[Changes to an interview with an Archangel]

"He was a good man, yeah, the ol' brother loved ta party and laugh. I can still remember..."

[Another interview]

"Aye, such a shame. He was a good brother to me... helped me through some tough %$#&..."

[Another interview]

[Comment over] And others had nothing to say.

Sunny: "...Get out of here and respect the damn men..."

[Back to reporter...]

Witnesses say the Angels were not prepared and were taken down fast when some knives were drawn, though they say they didnt go down without a fight.
Later at the scene investigators found traces of cardamine and a knife left behind with Maltese markings. Police have concluded this to be an Outcast or outcast influenced assault.
No leads have yet to be found on where the attackers had escaped. Some say they might be long gone.

[Another interview]

Bartender: "Ah... Ol' Joe? He was a frequent customer. Full of laughs, he was. Made everyone feel welcome."

[Back to reporter]

It seems him as well as the other two Archangels were well respected, though much less is talked about them towards non-members.
Later today as well, the club members plan to take a long trip down through a few cities, coming to the households of the family members to help deal with the greif.

Over to you Jane.

This just in: breaking news coming into us LIVE of the aftermath taking place. A push and a shove sparks a massive brawl in a casino! James Smith as more of the details.

[Picture changes to show James Smith (reporter) in a Kusarian Style hangar bay. Flashing emergency lights are shining behind him.]

Thank you Jane.

I am standing here at the place just one hour ago of a massive brawl taking place in the Golden Dragon Casino owned by Hogosha.
That's right! A fight erupted between members of the Hogosha and The Archangels Fighter Club just an hour ago!

Just earlier this week there was a confrontation between these two groups which ended in sour taste for both sides. Just hours ago a full party of at least 25 or more Archangels had entered into the Casino with glaring eyes looking back at them. They had moved to the bar counter where they asked for some drinks when a Hogosha member had stepped in behind to interupt and had exchanged words. No one still knows what was said but right after another Archangel charged and kicked the Hogosha member to the ground! This sparked a full scale battle between the two groups of men. Fists and kicking soon evolved into the Archangels using wrenches and screw drivers. The Hogosha retaliated with their own weaponry as well as pulling out handguns. Shots were fired in close combat as well as chairs and pieces of furniture were flung.

Luckily non of the guests were hurt in the brawl as the employees made quick to get everyone to cover or under tables to not provoke any trouble. After the fight had died down a little and authorities were brought in, many bodies were lieing on the floor and many were found injured. Unfortunately one Hogosha and two Archangels had died in the brawl. Reports say that some Archangels had even escaped the casino and had fled though we are unsure of the injuries for them. The remaining Archangels that had been wounded are in custody currently and are being arrested.

A statement from the owners of the Casino has already been given stating: "We will not tolerate these racing gangsters any longer." No other statements have yet to be made.

Back to you, Jane.

That is all for this half hour. Stay tuned for more!
