Pirate Liner (Rogue Liner) - sindroms - 05-23-2016

I was digging around my old imgur when I found this piccy.

The idea back in 85 was to make the Scylla a SRP-Only ship, along with a battleship called the Cerberus - sadly I do not have a pic of it, but it was basically three scyllas for a head and a massive, oversized Scylla-rear for the butt.

This ship was supposed to replace the existing Scyllas by being a transport-cruiser. If I remember correctly, it had 12 Transport/Gunboat turrets ala the Salvager, a CD and no CM with a cruiser shield. Cargo was supposed to be just below 3000.

For better or for worse, it did not get to that point, but I feel as though you should have seen the piccy of the model anyway (sun)

,85 times when we was waiting in the que line on a 225 player cap was full with good rp stuff this ship would fit in perfectly but now iam not sure 12 GB turrets & cruiser shield 2800 cargo would be lots of q_q favorite of all unlawfull forces
iam not against it but i cant see the potential for this ship to make it ingame
the Cerbrus LR Battleship is an intresting piece i would love to see it ingame since the LR got just the scylla as cap ship

I remember Cerberus battleship thing being mentioned... if I recall, was it positioned in Cassini for some time like these carrier prototypes are moored to shipyards?

If anyone actually has the files for that model, I could think of some uses for it.

That's a very cool model. Smile
