Newport meeting | Seraphim & AFC - The Seraphim - 06-06-2016

Dankien arrives at the station and looking at it: "Damned what happened here? I knew the junkers could live in scrappy place, but this beyond suitable limits. Did they leave with the walls or what?"
Dankien manages to dock more or less manually given the conditions of the docking bay,
Then he takes a bag and enter the living area. Inside the pressured area he asked for his AFC contact to some guy around.

Dankien: "Hey you, good day, do you know where I could meet Sunny? He his the Archangel Fighter Club leader, do you know him?"
The guy around: "yes sure, he is at the third level, in the reactor area, he should be supervising some checks."
Dankien: "Thanks man. This way?" (while pointing an elevator).

Dankien goes to the third level, looks at the level map and locates the access gate to the reactor. He goes there and finds a group of people.
"Good day gentlemen, Dankien Moebus, I am looking for Sunny."

The group of people were chatting among themselves and were all wearing the colors of the Archangels. They looked back at the man that came their way and some nodded hello while others just looked.
"Sunny, eh?" One of them spoke. "He should be finishing up giving some Samura peeps a tour... I suppose I can go find him and tell him you are waitin'..."
Sunny just then would walk out of the reactor room and meet eyes with Dankien.
He snaps his fingers. "Ah! You are... I am guessing Mr. Moebus? I got a notification you'd be coming. Pleasure to meet you." He says and extends his hand to greet him.

Dankien makes a few steps to shake Sunny's hand.
"So this is it: Newport. I was not aware it was being renewed. What happened with the Junkers here?"

"Junkers? Here? Please... You've got to be pulling my leg. Besides the occasional traveling junker, they ain't sticking around much here. This old place used to be just a pike of junk when they left it. We've come along and been doing some upgrading." He says back.
"Anyway, you wanted to see me? Perhaps we can find somewhere quiet to chat then. You don't mind a drink, do you? Lets head on over to our VIP lounge at our bar and sit at a booth to get comfortable." Sunny suggested and started leading the way down to the near elevators. "So... Tell me a bit about yourself..." he says as they walk.

Yeah, let's sit down somewhere, I've brought some beers from Freeport 2, we could drink it while discussing.
So you want to short or the long version of my bio, because I was not born yesterday, this may take a while.
Short version: I am a pacific zoner, I just want to help those in need. I've convinced a few other zoners to form this Seraphim group, and now we are conducting some humanitarian projects here and there. Up to recently we were based in the omicron but with the Core aggression and the ion storm we decided to move closer to the House. Sigma was a natural choice.
Dankien follows Sunny in the station, taking elevators and walking in corridors. When they arrive at destination Dankien get two beers from his bag, open it and give one to Sunny.

Sunny took the beer and swung it casually up to drink a few mouth-fulls of the drink before putting it back down. It had gone down to half-full.
"Ahh.." He wipes his mouth with his hand and rests the drink on the table but still holds it. "Makes sense, and you want some place to stay, eh? Tell me about these projects. I've been hearing some thing but they might just be rumors. You work to rehabilitate slaves, lets say?"

Dankien enjoys his beer too, drinking a few sips before talking:
"Exactly, this would be great to have our headquarter in Newport. And yes, we intend to help slaves to return to a normal life. Actually, we are discussing with different parties to prepare an anti-slavery program. But you know, this is only one of our projects. We are also involved in the IMG hospital project in Tau systems, we give a hand to the population of planet Nuremberg... you heard about the dark matter problem in Munich?... And we are trying to help people in Leeds system too."

Sunny sipped more of the beer as he listened and nodded.
"Interesting... We are as well doing the whole..." he spins his finger around a little, " free slaves thing too on a side thing, so we might get along well. Though I have to ask by what is the dark matter problem you mentioned? I have not heard about such a thing." He says back and tips the bottle to sip more. "You don't mind your nightclub being on the same station as your headquarters too, yes?" He adds.

Dankien smiles: "That's good news because we truly need help on this project. So far we have put all efforts on the Coronado-Tau corridor but we mus also take care of the Sigma region."
Dankien sighs: "well... I am not a specialist of dark matter but as far as I know it corrupts materials. The problem is new in Munich, it is like some dark matter has entered the atmosphere of planet Nuremberg and it seems it has bad effects on ecosystems and human health." Dankien makes a pause and then continues: "it is like the life on the planet is slowly dying...."
Dankien smiles: "I knew you would mention that. Well... no, it's not a problem as long as the people are consenting adults and don't get sick. By the way, do you have many visitors coming for the parties?"
