Its annoying having to alt-tab the game just to check the wiki or the map, its not the first time i have ended up crashing into a planet.
I can only initiate the launcher through steam, but not the game itself. Is there any way?

Have you considered pressing alt-enter instead, and having it in windowed mode?
Even though you can only have the launcher start on steam, apparently that gives the game the steam overlay.

Firstly, you shouldn't be checking the wiki with it's out of date information
Secondly, what kind of potato are you running that alt-tabbing through windows makes it painful?

When did i said i had a bad computer?
I just want to run the game through steam so i dont have to alt tab all the time using the steam overlay.
