Greetings,

It's both with great pride and a great sense of duty that I send out this transmission, informing all members of High Command that a long awaited and multiple-staged research project has indeed reached its first steps, the recent number of anomalous ships and infectees roaming our core systems is truly alarming. But in the wake of the sheer overwhelming realities of this situation, there is indeed a tiny sliver of hope. With your permission, several potentially infected subjects will be analyzed to the best extent our technology can offer, hopefully in time beyond this limit as well. Greater understanding of infected subjects and means to detect these circumstances will go a long way in engineering future technologies.

This is extremely good news, isn't it? But you knew a but was coming, and you were right by assuming so. All of this is possible, as well as far more. But given our current research venues, research such as this would require increased security and a more clandestine location, something our current sites do not offer in the slightest. This is the reason why I am asking that ESRD either be partly or fully relocated to the Radford Research Station. Training as well as deployment of strike teams, discplined and drilled specifically towards anti-infestation as well as the containment and quarantine of infected subjects may also be done there. In time, the dark corners of Radford is where our efforts will burn brightest, and these words are meant truly. I leave the matter up to your experienced and seasoned consideration, I hope you see the merit and possibilities to this as well.

My one last request to the office of High Command is a provisional cease-fire with the 'infamous' Battlegroup Auxesia. Primarily due to their usefulness in furthering research into these fields as well as providing otherwise unobtainable resources and materials. The cease-fire will be initiated as a test of sorts to observe the Battlegroup's true merits and whether or not they are true to what they are said to be. I know this is a big step, but it is indeed a necessary one if we hope to further our technology within an acceptable time-frame.

Commander Reeves, over and out.

Commander Reeves.

This research project has caught the attention of the High Command and I am fully supportive of it. Permission to conduct your research aboard Radford Research station is granted. You will now be given access to sector 23 and Delta Labs to freely conduct your research. ESRD fireteams Delta through Sierra will be present on station to provide the utmost security. Furthermore the Perimeter of Radford research station will be reinforced with the Monument-class LNS Maryland and the Overlord-class LNS Glendale. After the recent crisis we have had with the =LSF= betrayal we cannot take any risks on security.

The Harmony is in dry dock at the Juneau as we speak, the crew is under custody and Rear Admiral Knight is under the safety of the station. Move hastily and issue extreme caution.

As for the ceasefire with that battlegroup, I'm afraid that is a formality that cannot be done under how things have developed during our relations with them. Try to find you information any way you can.

Best of luck in your research and operation, Commander.

Regards,

Alan Jones

Greetings,

Due to the recent incidents and all the suspicions regarding Harmony and even the LSF, I'm re-opening this communique for another request. I need access to the personnel files that the Navy's maintained thus on Battlegroup Harmony. Everything there is from transfers to re-assignments. The theory that K'haran subversion may be the cause of this 'civil war' is currently being entertained, and as such I cannot perform a proper investigation without these files. I know this is an odd thing to ask for out of the blue, but the sooner you approve the transferring of the data to me, the sooner further crisis may be averted.

Commander Reeves, over and out.

Commander Reeves.

Permission granted. I have already notified the navy archive and do not hesitate to contacy them as soon as you can. Lots of suspicions and rumors are roaming aroumd, from treachery to sabotage and even infectee sleeper agents. In any case we need to be extremely cautious and lets hope for the best. The High Command will fully support your work on this matter.

Best of luck Commander.
